I will always wait before buying a game..to wait for impressionz and ask about iad...if it present i wont buy it...even if it was best game in appstore

and if people here i dont know who seeing iad is okay...so i think there must be a sign on the icon or a must in game describtion saying it has iad..so that the weirdo people like me not to buy the game and buy an alternative and you guys here enjoy it!

But im sure all dev will hide if the iad is in the game...i wonder if a single dev will say in describtion it has iad...the only solution to this iad is NEVER BUY A GAME Till SOmEone TOFTT

I don't understand, why would you pass up a great game just because it has a small ad on the bottom?

Ads are wonderful things, they keep costs down for consumers.

Anyone will never buy a game having ad...even know in appstore there is alot of apps with ad..and you only pay to get ad free version..u know why they work because the ads s*cks..and i always buy for ad free version..now there is only one way to escape the nonescapable ads... Is as i said to wait till some one TOFTT and then ABANDON this developper
its like GIZMODO says its the end of 1/8 of your screen...

I put dont care, iad away i say.
But I wasnt reading carefully, so I thought that meant that I want iAds to go away.
    So yea...
    -1 Don't care, iAd away I say.
+1 I will be very upset and will boycott the developer.

Ads in paid apps are just plain wrong, end of story. Any paid app that has ads I would get pissed, and do everything I can to make sure that the ads go away / app doesnt get bought anymore, and depending on the price of the app, get my money back lmao.

Ads in the Tap Tap series affected game performance and made the wifi signal harder to maintain. Unless Apple allows the user to disable ads, there will be no way to prove that any quirky app behavior is not ad related, and therefore Apple will have to issue so many thousands of refundw that....that...it will still be worthwhile for Apple, since they'll be rolling in it. Anything for the shareholders. They can field performance complaints on the sly, as they always do.

I won't "be very upset about it," but won't use any such services either.

I personally can't wait for iAds. I think it'll bring a whole new experience to iPhone gaming and may even reduce the price of many games.

You wonder how? Those games cost $30-$50, not $0.99. That is how.

Of course developers will put iAds in their games. I think you're forgetting that dev's need money, as we (the buyers) simply want games. Dev's will get more money through iAds and therefore will include them. If it's good money, which I expect it will be, they'll carry on developing. If you're willing to not support a dev' simply because he has an iAd in his game I think you're very selfish...

NOW BAck to THE QUESTION YOU BOTH ESCAPING TO ANSWER.PLZ DONT SHIFT OR ANSwer A dIFFERENT QUESTION
THE QUESTION IS SINCE IAD IS WOW...WILL ANY DEV HAVE THE GUTS TO SAY IN DESCRIBTION IT HAS IAD?????)????????

Having ads in paid games will just cause people to download pirated versions. Do you honestly feel the need to give the developer your money if s/he is cheap enough to embed ads in a paid app? I don't think so.

I can't read a developers mind, so I am not able to answer that question. However, I don't understand why they would be obligated to include that they have iAds in the description. As for the rest of your post Rivozzz, I can't understand your English, maybe if you could type your thoughts out more clearly. Again though:

PSP games and other major console games are developed by large corporations. The average iPhone developer is some guy working out of his house. I have no problem with that guy charging $0.99 for his game and including ads.

You are acting very childishly. I am not basing this on your broken English, but your ignorant attitude. Listen carefully: the market has forced developers to lower their prices to points in which they make very little money. Many developers put a lot of effort into their games, only to lose money by the end. They are forced to set extremely low prices in order to get many sales. If they set higher ones, customers won't buy. It turns out that the games that are low priced and low financed have the most returns to the developer, encouraging poorer quality apps. You want a quality console? Either support devs by buying more expensive games (which you may be doing), or buy games with iAds, as devs need this income. Most customers will still refuse to buy at higher prices, so in order to bring higher quality games, developers will need to implement iAds.

iAds are non-obtrusive and actually quite fun, so I don't see why you are overreacting. It is your choice if you don't want to buy games with iAds, but don't accuse the developers. They need money to support themselves. And on to your question: some developers will, others won't. Those who don't are being somewhat dishonest, arguably, and I see your frustration with that. But if iAds are only put on menu screens and such, they may not include that in their description, thinking them non obtrusive and sensible.

I don't know what devs will choose to do, but I sure hope customers won't boycott devs who implement iAds into their games.

I am very anti -ad in paid apps. If they want to have an option to see the other apps they have produced with a button - that is fine.

That being said - they are likely coming...

When Cable TV first started, the reason you paid for it, instead of over -air TV was it was ad free. Now you pay for cable TV, and the ads are every bit as bad, and maybe worse than over-air TV ever was..

When money drives decisions - money generally wins...

I am not totally against it - until it starts becoming invasive.

But when I saw the 7th tent pole tucked in at the end of the keynote, I chuckled to myself.

What I don't want to see is apps that are for all intents & purposes offline apps require you to be online so it can display an advertisement.

That is something I can agree with. Finally someone on the other side of this debate with a valid point.

Haha..you are saying there is no reason the developer say his app ha iad..haha.you know what there is a reason...is that i will see it all the time

and in appstore...are apps that has ad...says this app has ads..and to remove ads update to full version!!!!!

And now you Are telling me its okay to hide its ad...

Well it seems im talking to crappy devs...and if that happen i will stick to proper devs..like gameloft, square enix ,whatever...

And you confessed before psp has no ads because its expensive so it is a respectable prodicts with no ads...and now you are saying ots okay iads on iphone is woow

    how contradictory...and your defence...is great..is childish
    lol
