I personally enjoyed Sandstorm while it last. I don't loath games I like them or not like them, loath is a strong word to be use for a video game... I'm reserve my loathing for politicians and cheating Girlfriends.
Meh....I have a very large range of emotion, I actually disdain politicians, despise cheating girlfriends, and yes, loath game loft. Hate is the a-bomb in my negative lexicon.
Well I wasn't referring so much to the fence sitter's who like the games for what they are. I was referring to the ride or dyers, who would love nothing more than to give gameloft the ol' reach around.
ol' reach around? sorry im not familiar with that phrase... do you mean pro-gameloft or anti-gameloft?
for getting cheated multiple times by the same party, you should blame yourself on first place .. seriously, it's your money, it's your choice .. it's not about the hype or the groupies as you called them, but managing your own expectation that is .. but, whatever .. good to see that you've finally make a decision ... I'm just expressing my opinion .. and so do you .. it's not that I'm getting anything ut of this .. I personally don't like Rolando .. good things I tried the lite version first .. but still Eliminate kinda hook me up .. so really, it's not about the publisher or the developer .. it's about what you want and what you expect from them ..
I am dissapointed with most Ngmoco games save Rolando 2 but I don't loath them, I just don't play their games period.
I didnt really like Topple 2, and Touch Pets wasn't enough of a sim for me, but i enjoyed Eliminate and Dr Awesome..
Your absolutely right! The blame does lie with me. I should have learned my lesson with hero of sparta, I figured "it wasn't about the publisher" so I continued buying their crap. Was it really ten games? no I exaggerated. More like 6-7. I figured, hell that sucked, but the platforms new, and all the games sucked last year. So now as the platform has evolved I see gameloft still selling the same plain vanilla, video games as they did from the get go. Come on guys, don't relegate games to the dregs of common entertainment. They can be so much more.
Gameloft games are good attention-grabbers due to their graphics and neat icons, but never have good replayability. Quality in these games (aside from mechanics and graphics) is mere average, especially in games like Dungeon Hunter and Blades of Fury. I took off all the Gameloft games on my iPhone.
Really informative post. I think you've accomplished the goal of chasing after my tail for every post I write that you have a different opinion on. Goal accomplished. Now if you can tell me what's wrong with my post in this thread, that would be great. I still wonder why you bother following my posts in the first place.
Castle of Magic was a bit miss for me. I'd heard such good things about it on other platforms (cell phones) that when it peggle'd, I jumped on it. It didn't last more than a few hours on my iPod. I've since learned from CoM, Bounce on, and others, that platformers don't really work as the virtual pad and the accelerometer tends to lack the precision necessary for a good platformer. Now the Toybot, Spybot, and Rolando series seem to be ok so there are exceptions. Siberian Strike didn't last long for me on my iPod either, but that has to do more with the fact that there are far superior shooters out there like Space Invaiders: Infinity Gene. I did really like Dungeon Hunter once I got into it. Hero of Sparta is easily my favorite button masher on the platform too.
Don't indulge yourself in the fantasy that I'm "following" you. I receive e-mail notifications to any thread I post in. You just so happen to post negative posts in...well. Everything.
I am inclined to concur with this. Aurora posts are quite a pain to read due to it's negative nature, his post in Nazi zombies are the dumbest I read in a long time.
This is true. You forgot to mention the fact that they just feel very shallow to begin with. I agree, however her post this time makes a lot of sense.
Well coincidentally I don't like Zenonia! The grinding, a Korean rpg that looks nothing more like a java game with generic characters that are cloned straight from countless generic rpg characters, the controls are not even optimized for the touch screen : you have to use the dpad to select the items instead of tapping it directly! Well one man's treasure is another man's trash so they say.
