There are a couple of great forums out there where you could talk about this stuff with a low risk of trolling.
Likely, she will continue to vent for a while, but you can only stay strong knowing she's not really ticked off at you. Hopefully, she gets the help she needs and takes advantage of this new opportunity. Btw, it's normal to feel suicidal. We all get depressed, and there are times when it's more intense than others. What you need to figure out is how to handle it and understand that those bad feelings do dissipate over time. The best way to help with the process is to talk to someone you trust.
