Possibly, unless they notice you're mass-returning apps. iTunes isn't a rental service.

I assume he just means file for a refund. I'm not sure how you go about it but I knew it was possible.

    Go on itunes
    Go into account
    Purchase history
    Click app name
    Report problem
    Wait

Yea, I got a refund for some games which someone else downloaded using my account >.>

But they said it's a 1 time thing, and they won't likely do it again.

I got a one-time refund also, when I accidentally bought a game that was supposed to be free.
I also got a refund when I accidentally bought an iPad app.

    Yes, you can refund.

    Apple allows the following:

    - an one-time refund for an accidental purchase,

    - when the app you try to refund has major bugs and is therefore unusuable,

    - when somebody has hacked your account and used your iTunes credits or other payment to make purchases.

Just to state you never used them will make them laugh at you.

But be warned... if you try to jerk around with them (refunding without any problems with the app or refunding too much because of accidental purchases, they're going to be pissed and are likely to shut down your account... after that, you'll have to register completely new with a new e-mail-adress and lose all of your recent purchases. I know two people who had to create new accounts because of that. No, make that three with goldglover.

Why did you return them? If they didn't work or were otherwise defective Apple will take them back, but if you simply didn't like them Apple will not do the refunds, otherwise people could essentially do free rentals on games.

    Yes, right.
Even more worse - you are seriously hurting the devs who have to suffer because of some people's stupidity.

For every refund you make, Apple gives a negative sale to the App's devs - that means, they take 100% of the money back for that refund and also KEEP the 30% fee from the initial sale. So, returning an app means that the dev initially gains 70% and loses 100% then. This is f*cking antisocial.
