Hey Guys. I'm posting this on the TA forum because I'm not sure of anyother place. I bought Modern Warfare 2 for my PC. After I did all the registration and installing it told me my graphics card was insufficient... So now I'm screwed. This is what it said, among other things: Video card does not support ubyte4n vertex data. Is there any way to make it work without buying a new graphics card? Because I never play games on the computer, I just wanted this one, so I wouldnt say a graphics card would be a "good investment." To me, it would be paying almost 200 dollars for a video game. Which I'm not willing to do. I was thinking maybe turning down the quality of the game, or doing something with the card. I'm willing to try most anything. I'm pretty sure Best Buy wouldnt take it back for a refund since I opened and installed and registered it. I'll have to try to sell it to a friend if I cant fix it. Thanks for the help guys, and if you know of a better place to post this let me know. -Josh
probably you aren't going to run it with an insufficient graphics card i do believe you can try getting a new better one if you are one a desktop if you are on a laptop you most likely won't be able to as with most laptops the graphics are imbeded into the motherboard and there is not slot for a better one... not sure on bestbuy's return policy. I went through the same thing with running a UT3 mod on my dell so i fell you pain.

I'm running it on a desktop. So I know I just need a new card. But I'm hoping there is something else I can do...
