One year ago dear sister, you left us and now on this day we remember you.
I love you so much and am so grateful for the time I had with you. Your time here was much too short and I know that you are with the angels.

Have the most beautiful glorious dreams in your eternal sleep my beloved twin sister..I love you more than you can know..

THIS IS A PIECE OF WRITING BY A WRITER, DEDICATED TO MY SISTER. IF YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT ADULT GAMES AND THE MOST INANE TOPICS GO RIGHT AHEAD BUT DO NOT TELL ME WHAT TO POST IN THIS LOUNGE. HAVE SOME FREAKING RESPECT. WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH YOU IS BEYOND ME.

Yea, not trying to sound like a dick, cuz I really do feel for you, but if I were you I wouldn't really be sharing that on here for a few reasons.

I'm a writer and I am sharing how I feel in this lounge where we talk about different things. I wrote this because I am celebrating my sister!

You are both are insensitive. christ jesus...

I'm leaving to go with my brother.

Mmhmm, I know that. But if it saddens you so much, why are you telling everyone and spreading it around? We're not trying to be insensitive. I just think you don't really post about your personal life on a forum.

I can write a poem or whatever I want on this forum because I feel close to a few members.

That is final. You have your opinion. My sister is six feet under and I have to cope with that every freaking day, so excuse me if I want to say something in a literary way. Just because no one shares poetry or any other writings on this forum doesn't mean there can't exist any.

I reported your response to Arn. Now good day.

I was just gonna come in here and say how strange of a post this is. Who would post something like this on an iPhone gaming forum?!?! It's really weird, I'm kinds freaked out right now.

Sorry for your loss but this is a video game forum full of teenagers. I'm really not sure what you expected posting this.

I feel for her, but I agree, this isn't something to post on the forums.

Guys leave her alone I can't even begin to imagine the grief of losing a sibling. She just wanted to express her feelings toward her sister so what if this is a video game site? Does that mean we can't be sensitive toward people who are hurting?

There's bigger things in life than video games. Family deaths are one of them.

I urge the mods to lock this thread before it gets out of control. We are all human beings and I'm sure many of us feel compassion toward the hardships of our peers, but this is the Touch Arcade forum, and I know I speak for many of you when I say I'd rather be talking about, I don't know, video games rather than people's deceased family members.

There are hundreds of forums entirely dedicated to grieving and discussing these topics. I don't mean to be callous or insensitive here, but forums have subjects, that's why they exist. This isn't /b/, you can't just talk about anything you want to.

I come here to read helpful reviews, previews, and reactions to iPhone games, not to suddenly and accidentally be bombarded with effusive off-topic posts. This isn't a public highway upon the sides of which to erect your gravestones.

I have just observed a moment of silence in respect to the dead, and now I'm opening another Mountain Dew.

    Argh,

I really don't want to be my usual self, an ass. But what a completely innappropriate thing to post on a forum, what do you want from us?

Lock this thread before she gets her feelings hurt,

Would you share your family death with a bunch of strangers you have never met? You aren't a little weirded out by this at all?

This is a LOUNGE which means off topic banter is spoken here. I did NOT want a single thing from anyone. I am a WRITER, I write, I write poems, short stories and anything else. Almost a year ago, she died, I wrote the eulogy at her wake and express myself through my creativity.

The fact that some of you are sitting here judging me and scratching your heads is amazing. Please just read the lovely thoughts and just accept what I have written.

No replies were expected or needed. I wanted to do this for myself and for my sister. I am keeping her memory alive in a small way by writing.

If you cannot understand this, not sure what else to say to you.

Enough. I posted in the appropriate section as i have written to a mod about. People post about the tv show LOST, and most anything else and I don't see anyone complaining. I post about my beloved twin sister and suddenly people are presuming to tell me I shouldn't post this? You are kidding right? People deal with grief in various ways.

I really don't want to argue, on this kind of a thread, but here goes.

You post something in a FORUM, and don't expect us to post anything? Perhaps you should have mentioned that.

There's a gigantic difference, between posting about a TV show, and telling a bunch of strangers about a death in the family. I don't see how you could even compare those two things.

People deal with grief in many ways, but this is completely innappropriate.

Is your sister freaking dead? It is NOT inappropriate! this is a lounge, we post about games in THE GAMES SECTION. What part of that is unclear. What you said is your opinion and I have mine.

I stand by what I said. Have respect. I have no more to ever say to you Mr.
