I started watching it Andes minutes ago and a childhood memory rush came instantly to me. I miss it so much, especially the theme song. "Gotta get back, back to the past, it's Samurai Jack! Wawachacha!!"
Samurai Jack was the show when I was a kid. It was... insane. Awesome action in a great cartoon. At least they show it on Boomerang these days (along with Courage the Cowardly Dog, the other one I watch a lot of). If you have DVR or something like that, just record the episodes. That's what I did on my grandparents' TV. And I didn't like Dexter's Lab that much. I don't know why, but for some reason, everything about that show just... annoyed me. I couldn't watch it, at all. Samurai Jack, on the other hand, was a completely different story.
Cartoon Network used to just be overall awesome. Samurai John (or Jack, as his friends called him), YuYu Hakusho, Dragonball Z, Toonami... it rocked.
I miss Toonami so much... All of my favorites of the time were on there, especially (preparing for flaming) Bo-Bo-Bo-Bo-BoBoBo. I find that show to be hilarious, mostly because of how stupidly random it is. It's made me almost laugh until I cry at times, just due to how extremely random and stupid it is. I think DBZ Kai is a re-run of the original DBZ series (which happens to be my favorite anime ever, now followed by Hellsing). But I still miss the whole Toonami thing. I looked forward to watching it all week (then again, just goes to show how eventful my life is...).
Bo bobobobo-whatever was my wtf show. I've never seen a full episode but loved watching like 30 seconds at a time. Samurai Jack though is the boss.
Although I know what you mean, I watched that show as much as I could. I literally couldn't bring myself to turn the channel when it was on. I'll try to watch most if not all of the series at some point, since all the episodes are on Youtube anyway. Btw, I know this is off topic, but anyone know where I can watch Hellsing online? I started watching it on Youtube, but all the videos are blocked to the point where I can't even finish episode 2. It's a shame, since it's fantastic so far, but I'd really like to actually watch the show.
