Heh, I was wondering about that - what do the points mean? How do you get them? Just by completing achievements? And can you do anything with them?

I am amazed that you made it to and probably way past 100k points right now, but I am just wondering how you feel now that Apple is doing their own social gaming network that will replace all the others. I wonder if all your "hard work"(most likely enjoyable) is going to be lost.
As a fellow OpenFeint achievement junkie (although my total is a somewhat smaller 32000), what do you think will happen to OpenFeint with the release of 4.0?
I was thinking the same... That is going to suck. I only have around 8,000 though, so it doesn't really affect me.
I read somewhere that all the major achievement systems will port over the new Game Center,so every achievement we have in OF they will be ported to Game Center. P.S.I don't know what will happen to OF,but I hope it won't go away.
im at 3000 points but I havent been getting them latley because once apple comes out with Gamer Center, Openfeint and other achievement systems will fold. I do hope that what some fellow posters said above, that all of ur achievements will be converted to Game Center, is true.
I really hope the OF freegame of the day service will somehow maintain, since they kick ass most of the time
