I associate it very strongly with the people who post in the MMO forum, and the kids who take Eliminate too seriously... and kijib/ipod touch guy/other spammers we don't particularly like. Perhaps it's an age thing, if you're young enough to like Pocket God, you're young enough to annoy the hell out of everyone without even realizing you've done it.

Sure lots of idiots like Pocket God but you still shouldn't take anywlthing away from the developer because of it. The amount of work he put in is easily worth 99 cents.
The British are ever so temperamental. I can just see Midian sitting in a leather chair by the fire. Hound at his slippered feet, wood cackling in the blaze. Earl Grey in one hand, iPod in the other. As he reads the forum entries, he chuckles with the dark British laugh, wipes a tear from his eyes, and goes "Oh dear, God Bless the Queen" every 3 minutes.
Uh, not really. The devs specifically said their target audience was around the 9-15 range or something. Why should we sit here and recommend the app to adults who probably aren't going to like it? The only reason it gets a lot of praise around here is because there are a lot of kids around here. Sounds better than most stereotypes, but Earl Grey is absolutely rotten.
