    Nice post DBC

  2. And I am not too happy about updates where they do it solely to add more inapps or change to freemium, and then lo and behold, they corrupt your data, so you lose everything, all coins, inapps, everything...

Thank you Electronic Arts and Chillingo for doing that to me yesterday with Catch the ark! Thanks for all of you guys focus on inapps, that you don't take the time to have icloud saves, and corrupt our data, and poof, lose all coins and progress, and inapps.

I am really starting to fear inapps from a lot of developers. Used to look forward to them, but nowadays, it seems like developers are just using them to force you to accept freemium converts, ads, timers, etc. Then accidents start to happen like game crashings, data corruption and loss, and waste of time to download.

If you are gonna add inapps or ads, and make us basically beta testers for these builds, that is bunk! We pay good money for these games, it sucks to lose all your coins due to faulty inapp code. And get this, one day, I predict, some developers will INTENTIONALLY program an update to make you lose your coins, so many will buy inapps for coins again. It will happen. Just like nowadays where developers screw over early adopters on purpose after one or two days.

It will happen, a greedy developer will one day reset your coins secretly in an update, I really wish Apple would force developers not to change games in these negative manners to paying premium customers through updates, in any other business, this would be illegal, pain and simple, no matter what the cheerleaders might say.

I feel for you. It sounds like a minefield out there.so, walk carefully. Spend wisely and try to keep a level head. Aren't we the knowledgeable gamers the cream that should go in the Devs coffee? We should get more respect but we don't always...it's the business practice of the day. So if its Premium price, free, freemium or whatever buyer beware.
