Hey, there some people here who play on both teams!!! I like my Nexus 7 (even though I admittedly play more on my 4S). Racist!
5.7 inch phones Sd cards, basically unlimitless disk space Detachable batteries, basically unlimitless Usable stylus Good HDMI And alot more Jcho is racist as awp says!
Minecraft and similar. I've tried and tried, bought minecraft on Xbox, PC and iOS and also survival fact, world of cubes etc but no matter what I do I just don't get it. I envy my daughters ability to lose herself in minecraft for hours. I've watched a lot of vid with my 8 yr old daughter and some of the creations on them are brilliant and my daughters little Egyptian world is brilliant (she got extra credit for it as part of her Egyptian homework, her teacher is a minecraft fan too) So while I don't get it, I'm jealous of those that do. Call Of duty etc. I love shooting games but I've never been able to get into these, kids in the family take the piss out of me cos when they come sneaking up on me My character is usually jumping about like a tit cos I can't get the hang of controls. Certain the little shits uploaded vids to youtube lol.
Really ? I had an Android phone for a few days over Xmas, it was great exploring a different app store but the problem was i've got so many favourite apps on my iphone i couldnt switch in the end. But i can see why Android is so popular, its not 'locked down' like the App store so emulators are easy to get. I mean i had a quick look today, old classic games like Quake I or Quake II are there to download, all you do is add the main 'pak' file and you've got those games on your device. Emulators for everything, you must see why its popular ? I mean its not just retro stuff, theres a PSP emulator, Nintendo DS, to have all these devices on your phone in the palm of your hand at all times is great. I do love iOS but the prices are sometimes ridiculously high for a device compared to Android, plus memory is SO cheap yet you try buying a 64 gig device, its a joke the price Same here ! Saw some younger gamers playing this and you just seem to build, no shooting or anything, just build, boring ! The other thing i dont get in iOS games are.... Costumes !!! Just let me play the game, this isnt Barbie where you want to dress up your character, just play the game ! Be terrible looking back if you could put a costume on Mario or Pacman.
I honestly love Minecraft PE. It's great if your playing it with friends (having connected on same wifi network) But it's boring if you're alone. On topic i don't get it why people don't appreciate crafting games?
I have a friend who after getting his Nexus 7 was SUPER pro-android. So pro android that he got an HTC One for his next phone a couple months ago... And he switched it out for a 5C in a week haha But it was mostly because everyone he knew had an iPhone, and not having iMessage was crippling
Does not compute! *head asplodes* I don't get why almost everyone on here hates Bloons Tower Defense. And I can tell some of them have never even played any of them. I also don't get why some people refuse to get game w/o Game Center support. That is the silliest thing I've ever heard. I don't get why "older generation gamers" need to always point out that they are in gaming discussions. Yes, we get it, times have changed. Another thing I don't get is why people who rufuse to download F2P games think they're making a difference, sticking it to the man if you will. I can tolerate F2P, and I'm not a fan of P2W, but you don't see me always whining and crying about it every chance I get like others do. People just need to accept the fact that there is absolutely nothing they can do about it.
Massive screens for phones. I have a tablet for that. Minecraft and similar. I tried, just didn't get why it is so fun. Most tower defense games. PVZ is the only exception (loved it). Endless runners. They hold my interest for 2-3 minutes. Simplistic casual games (farming games for example). I do understand the fun of other casual games such as the match-3 variations.
1. Endless runners 2. Those super hexagon, M bison or whatever games. Play for 30 seconds, get frustrated and give up. 3. PvZ. I love tower defense games but don't like this one.
Ha ha totally agree ! I dont get endless runners, just seem to be all the same and they're rebadged time and time again and still the masses seem to lap it up. Perhaps its just me ! Agree about Super Hexagon, yeah a lot of mobile games you want a quick go here and there but not for 7 seconds !!! Dont get these ultra hard games one bit.
To me its like an electronic version of Lego, i mean you just build structures dont you and thats it ? Its not really a game, just constructing something. Its a bit like an art/paint package where you make a picture for people to admire. With thousands of proper games out there the last thing i want to do is build some structure for strangers to admire. Give me a double barrelled shotgun in Doom/Quake anytime over 'lets make a building' I switched back to iOS as i just had so many iOS games to play and i couldnt get them all on Android. But to switch back just because of iMessage ??
Accept with this one too, every time i played it, just even can't survive in 10 seconds but people reach very highscore with it.
If you think Super Hexagon is too hard, try Groove Vortex, it is basically the same game with much better graphics and a difficulty more for a casual player.
