Somehow ended up with the app deleted from both my iphone/itunes, long story, how can I download those apps for free since I have already paid for them?

I tried with a game, but ended up getting charged even though I had already bought it previously...

    Thanks,

You download it again. If you got charged for the last one, contact Apple (though by now it's probably too late), but it should ask you if you want to download it again for free. It has for me every time, both on iPod and computer.

Just redownload them again. To make sure the app belongs to you (to avoid accidentally paying for something with a similar name or whatever), click to write a review and if itunes lets you write a review then you own it.

When I went back to the app on my phone, it said the app price, it didnt say "Free" and I still tried to buy it to see if I would get charged and i did...

Does that mean I have to call Apple for every app I had bought before, wth do they really not have a solution for this

3 possibilities I can think of...

    1) You weren't signed into the account that bought the game.

    2) It was a different game/version of the game, and thus didn't count as the one you'd paid for.

    3) Apple messed up.

1 & 2 are the most likely right now...

I ended up rebuying 2 games (Virtual Villagers and Critter Crunch) before because the rights to them were sold to another company

You usually have to download the app from the device you orginally purchased it from, or you could avoid this problem altogether by regurlarly backing your idevice up

Not true, I always download a game I purchased on my iPhone onto my iPod Touch no problem. There shouldn't be any issue at all unless it was what MidianGTX suggested. Check through your iTunes purchase history to see if you've indeed purchased it before using that same account from the same publisher.
