When it was announced this one had been submitted, I began holding my breath. I am dead now and typing this from the afterlife and NO, it is not out here either.
Well I emailed the dev maybe on Saturday morning and he answered like on Monday saying that "the game is still on review and has not been rejected. It's just a little bit too long" I'm looking forward to this too and I hope apple let this one through quicky coz I'm tired of waiting too.
How does Apple expect devs to produce episodic content if it keeps dicking around devs like this? I think any app that takes over 2 weeks to approve should warrant Apple contacting the dev and telling them what's up, so at least they'll know what to do.
I don't buy the "a bit too long" excuse. This thing got rejected. Submitted over a MONTH AGO?!!! Man, I can't believe everything is going as planned. Not even Apple would hold onto it THAT long. I'm sure enough folks are wanting to try this that a simple' "hey guys, had to resubmitt b/c . . ." would be appreciated.
I tend to agree. I think the content may be been deemed to be too much fo the Apple censors, and the devs are having to go back to the drawing board. The title of this thread should be "The horror that never was..."
This game does look good. I wish we could get a price for it. GatorDeb I seen quite a few of your posts you have good taste in games.
I would have thrown a sh!t conniption to the devs if they were bullcrapping me. Fact of the matter is, games of this content sits at Apple's bin for a loooong time (see Hill Billy, Zombie Mangle). Yes, both apps have been rejected for apple. Hill Billy submitted with green (?) blood and Zombie Mangle did that as well and now exists as ALIEN Mangle. It's tough to decide how HYSTERIA plays out since they can't simply edit the blood footage to have a different colored blood. I'm still hoping Apple approves it and slaps it with a Mature rating if they're really that conservative.
The dev is as unaware or uninformed as us. Apple will never let anything out. We remain blind until the devs hear: A) approved B) rejected
