im assuming it depends on the success of the first episode. i do know that there are a couple more episodes after this first one.
Looks very interesting and appeals to me since I'm a thriller/scifi/horror fan. I can see the Blair Witch Project influence for sure. It's super obvious but that's a good thing.
I'm actually kinda stoked for this game. It's stuff like this, and the upcoming audio adventures from Realtime Associates (developers of Soul Trapper, they've got two new audio adventures on the way, LA Knight and Bloodvine) that makes this platform "different" compared to the other platforms for the most part. And it also helps if there's a market for this sort of stuff. As I'm thinking more and more about getting my feet wet with developing something for this platform (it would be my first time developing a game outside of gamemaker and the old BASIC stuff), I look at stuff like this and think "y'know...if I learn a little technical know how as concerns cocoa and objective-c...I might be able to pull off something nice" what with me having majored in film back in college.
This game is very good! There is about 30-40 minutes of gameplay for $1.99 More episodes are coming that widen the story, don't want to give anything else away
this seems boring....i like the concept but it looks like a half hour horror movie with a few interactions...
Attention!!! i asked devs one more time about the game. was curious if it was rejected or is just so long in review. here is an answer i received: Hi the game has not been rejected, but it seems that Apple is working very hard on firmware 3.0 and the review time is slow at the moment. I am sure the review will be ok soon.
without spoiling too much. i fear this will get the hammer as it involves some graphics we havent seen on any game for the appstore. HINT: how apple stands with red blood.
GI Joyride has been great, and I hope Hysteria Project comes out soon. This one ought to be fun and scary.
I want Hysteria! I want Hysteria! I want Hysteria! I want Hysteria! Quick! Everyone grab your torches and pitchforks! We go to Apple NAO!
btw, this thread about hysteria shows that sometimes (thank god only sometimes!!!) this community sucks.
