@Collin Thanks a lot or your detailed feedback. Some of your suggestions will be implemented in the first update. Funny that you had trouble with the first level most find level 2 quite hard @giffi Great work with those walk troughs.
Hungry Turtle updated to Version 1.1 today Today we have published an update to Hungry Turtle: Version 1.1 of Hungry Turtle brings Game Center support with leaderboards and achievements. Now you can compete against your friends on Game Center. Besides Game Center support there are a number of other minor improvements in this new version. Hungry Turtle http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hungry-turtle/id465482512?ls=1&mt=8 Hungry Turtle FREE http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hungry-turtle-free/id485683371?ls=1&mt=8 The next major update will bring additional levels and other exciting new things...stay tuned! And BTW, to celebrate the release of the update and one month in the App Store, here are 5 promo codes for Hungry Turtle: P7P6RP4HRNW4 EH7TA3FPMWJH ANJJ3Y3Y99NT L7TXX3KWHPEW EEM7MLJTX4RT It would be really nice, if you could reply here if you have taken one and please don't forget to review the app.
Great to see you keep updating this game. Gamecenter is great. I think the tool"bar" was also tweaked somehow. I look forward to the additional levels. Will those be free or IAP?
@derkoun Both Some of the new levels will be a free update (The highway theme actually) and there will be more available with IAP, most probably 3 full new themes with 24 levels each. BTW, the promo codes above are all gone, but because today is such a nice day, I'll drop in 10 more codes for the full version of Hungry Turtle P44LLJTWR3YW RT9AJYE9FE6N LL49M3EYJ46F 3P6YRLM9R6R3 MF4HKYEMAKYP JXW3X64FXNAN 4HAKHKLRHA9K 6L469AEEMW7Y 9F4FR3T9XP3X YHTH66RAAYK6 Again, it would be really nice, if you could reply here if you have taken one and please don't forget to review the app.
So, if my math is right, we are talking 24 free levels and 72 via IAP? I think I'll have to take a few days off
I'd like to see a fast-forward button to move the turtle once you get a solution in place. He's pretty slow right now (duh, he's a turtle, but still...).
Thanks for your interesting idea. But technically this would probably be quite difficult to do, because of the way the physics simulation engine works (it's tuned to do real-time simulation). Also, time is an important factor in score calculation, so maybe it is better to keep the current behaviour. BTW, have you already played level 8 in the 'Castle' theme? There you can see a VERY FAST turtle, actually.
great game I purchased this game and I am happy I did, fun to play and quite challenging. As a player of Cat Physics, (and many of the Donut Games), IblastMoki and Cover Orange, I think you have a great game with HT. I would like to see a leader board for one's total score, not just the "scenes" indvidual scores. Thanks Real Objects for creating a very clever and fun game to play.
Thanks a lot for your great feedback! For the total score leader board, we've already submitted an update which is pending review, should be available soon.
Very nice game. I tried a bit and liked most levels although I am completely stuck at the pinball level. There is one drawback for competive players or I am too thick to find it: there is no way to see the score of individual levels. For games I like I usually keep a spreadsheet with my scores and perhaps known high scores. This appears to be impossible here. You might wish to add this in a future update. Good work, guys. Papp
your app Your app looks entertaining, I like the colours and fresh take on the physics genre. Would love to be able to chop wood and have a turtle roll down it. Good luck with this wish I could play it
to real objectos I agree with Papp, the scores for each level need to be seen without having to play the level (and pass it) to view your score. ctay
@pappnase Thanks for the good feedback But come on, "Pinball" is really easy Also, there are a lot of points to collect in that level, so just keep playing it and you see it will be easy. You have to stay concentrated and calm, not wasting too much drops Regarding the highscore of the individual levels: Currently you have to play and complete a level to see the current highscore. In the next update (Version 1.2, already submitted and pending review by Apple) you can see the current level highscore when hitting "Pause". In the major update planned for next month, we will display the highscores of each level in the theme overview screen. What we also plan: * Additional multitouch gesture for "cut" * 23 new levels ("Highway" theme) * Level pack with 3 new themes and 72 new levels as IAP, includes a new material * some other things still in the works
That all sounds GREAT!, one more suggestion. When a player cannot move on to the next level because they are unable to solve a level right away can be frustrating. Many games allow a player to move forward, maybe 3-5 levels if they cannot find an immediate solution.
Great little game just finished my first run through some good scores some not so good , Good too see all the physics usual suspects about Only issue as already mention viewing of scores but have read it being rectified, good to See the devs interacting with the gamers, and Ctay if you get stuck try harder it's no CO you know
Thanks for the thumbs up We are trying our best to listen to you guys and improve Hungry Turtle where possible. So keep the feedback coming. BTW, here's one hint from a reviewer in the German App Store: "If are stuck, just put the game a away for a few hours. Then, most of the time you'll find the solution immediately when returning to the game."
This maybe good for some but I find if I keep hitting my head against the wall eventually the wall will break
lol Shaurn. you are right it is not CO (which, btw, I am "over") HT more like IMB2 where you have to make gadgets and a bit like CP, no explosions just a rolling object getting from one place to another . Looks like you have taken a serious liking to HT and I sent you an email re the "devs" aka anonymous (or anonymice, as pj called them)... congrats on the #1s ... but your going to have to "try harder" on highways...
