I don't get nearly that much. I probably get around 800-1000 gold per run. Already using the Hammerhead Shark, so it's not hard to get a medium shark at all. The key is to consistently do the missions, pull off as many Gold Rushes as possible, and if you can, search for treasure.
Didn't seem to be an issue to transfer the NZ save. Was able to sync my facebook account today. Then deleted and redownloaded cause I wanted the kraken, but it didn't work. When I restarted quit out of the first game, then clicked on the facebook sync and it gave me the option to keep my old save and I had everything restored. Ended up unlocking XXL sharks and they cost 120k, 140k and 150k. Not sure what's causing the unlocks now though, it used to be completing missions would progress the shark unlocks.
I had emailed the dev during soft launch and asked for it.... They said they would consider but obviously to no avail
Started playing last night and I've already unlocked my first L shark. The Bullshark. Granted, I spammed the ads for gems but I feel it's a much better trade off than grinding the tiny sharks only to grind some more for thousands of coins once you unlock the option to buy the larger ones. Just had to hit the video button and go do something else while the ad played. The one complaint I have is that it takes longer to get back to playing. Several more menus to tap through and longer load times compared to previous games.
Love these games. They're all the same thing but they're so much fun. Wish I could turn force touch boost off though because j get excited and press the screen the whole time making my boost never available when I actually need it.
I did the same thing. It's definitely worth the time to get Gems via the videos. Having a larger shark makes the game a lot more enjoyable.
Not sure how people can rank in this current event if they just started. 1% to get Will is currently in the 2 million points mark. The portion that I can see, rank 686 is 2.3 million and in the top 1%. I'm at 2.5 million using the great white.
Wow, I'm really liking this so far. I can see how I'll be tempted to buy some coins or something since I was way short on coins for the M shark when it unlocked. I'm grinding to get it, but now I'm worried about when the L sharks unlock, and they cost an insane amount. I guess it's finally time to delete HSE since now I've got this!
Dull/Washed Out Colors. I'm really enjoying this game, but I hate the way the current colors, brightness, and contrast, make this game look so dull. I've been waiting several months to play this, and I was expecting to see a vibrant underwater world, especially on my 9.7" Pro. Unfortunately, it looks like shit. A 10% increase in contrast, and 10% decrease in brightness, is all it needs. Current: After a quick adjustment:
