I paid $3 for a tiny can of smoked oysters. But that's because I really enjoy not only the tiny can of smoked oysters game, I really trust the Bumble Bee Canning Company for similar games they've made in the past. No IAP, no ads, no grinding (easy open tin)
...Than own a game created by a team so universally recognized as creating incredible things that they have a game in the Museum of Modern Art? That seems like a weird order of financial priority.
The bacon and avocado were microtransactions in the extremely popular "omelette" game (multiplatform). Not the game itself.
Anyone else having trouble with the iCloud sync? Reached level 39 on my iPhone, then tried to open on iPad. Only seems to be sync'ing 9 levels at a time. It recognizes that I'm up to level 39 and I can see all the ciphers, but not all levels are unlocked on the level select screen. After 1-9 sync'ed, I recompleted level 10 on the iPad and unlocked the next 10 levels. I then went out and back in a couple of times and it showed 10-19 complete, but I had to complete level 20 to unlock 20-29.
A lot of people say sushi is fantastic. I don't like it. So if you gave me a choice between $3 sushi from the best sushi chef in the world, or $3 bacon and avocado. I'd go with the latter. Heck, I'd go with this game.
All bacon and sushi aside, great game gents. Always a blast to play and show off emergent, clever and artsy games. you've earned my weekly app quota. Thanks for the love. And congrats on Editor's Choice, too.
How is this "not a game"? I just don't get it. Really enjoying this so far, I'm on round thirtyfive and it's getting challenging. Better experience playing on ipad than phone tho.
For whatever reason, people just really like coming up with these crazy arguments when it comes to SemiSecret games. It's really sort of fascinating to watch as no other developer seems to be able to drum up such vitriol towards pricing and such outlandish claims of whether or not things are even worthwhile games as them.
can u PM me? i want to buy the game but for 3 dollars i am curious as to the replayability other than just "beat the level"? thanks!
Did the Bacon and Avocado drive a car and shoot guns? That seems to be the game benchmark of what people will pay $3 dollars for.
I Just managed to Spoiler unlock endless mode, obviously that alone adds enough replayability. Either that or trying to beat level #100 - Grrrr I hate you semi secret, ya heard?? I finally froze the two spinners and still couldn't beat it.
Great puzzle game guys very polished and executed flawlessly. Yes it's worth the £1.99 I paid for it! Can I just say that, as an electronic music fan, the soundtrack is BEAUTIFUL.... really well done devs thumbs up! Please support it with lots of updates though.... ???
Don't touch anything until the spinner hits the circle on the right, as soon as it does - touch the circle and start to expand it as the spinner moves away to the other side. Now, as the spinner hits the circle on the left - it will stay in the middle, as that happens, immediately touch and expand the circle as it travels and bounces off the left side of the screen. Hope this helps somewhat. Using both hands is essential here.
I am really loving this game. Everything about it is so polished and the gameplay is incredibly fun. On a side note, my wife thought I'd lost my # when I suddenly yelled, f#%$ you level 21!
How do you beat level 31 so you can continue? I can complete it but never get to move on to next level. Help!!
