The Game just went down to 2.99$.
Is it worth the money now?
Just read this review:
See recent post from developer and forum notes.
Have you played it chiller? It's not my favorite, but I like it. I think with some additions which the dev says he is considering this could be worth the original $7.99 price tag. If they implement firstly calibration. Also missions and landing/take-off tasks. Just my opinion. If you have purchased this and would like to see something implemented, visit their site www.snakeheadsoftware.com and at least take the one click poll of what element you would most like to see implemented.
Its worth considering because if they update it and improve it will be worth much more then 3 bucks Although they could pull an Urban Tycoon
That's what I'm afraid of.
Yeah its a very scary thought
I'm still not getting it... Oh... And Happy Hanukkah Clone! I got a $50 iTunes gift card tonight!
Yup. We gave Urban Tycoon a 1, too.
Hahaha back at cha!
I gave my kid a 100 Itunes gift card. Made the funniest face and said "are you f**cking serious?" and ran to the computer to download some videos and apps
I personally refuse to buy a game before it is, for the most part, complete. Flying Aces is, according to the Devs, far from complete.
It's strange and frustrating to see developers throw a game up on the site, only to consider adding major features (places to actually land your plane, missions, multiplayer) as an afterthought. This practice is fine if you release it as a free demo to solicit ideas from the masses. It just shows that not much thought was put into the initial release. Purchasing it now, regardless of cost, just encourages more of the same.
Not to pick on this title - Flying Aces is FAR from being the worst offender. It looks very promising. A lot of people are excited to see a game such as this under development, including myself. I just won't buy it when it is so lacking.
The App Store...your "work in progress" download center!
