If the screen were not so good looking, I would be returning mine... It is horrible - equally bad is putting a big glob of Scotch Tape on the phone - the tape will not stick for very long, but will have the glue substance get all over the phone. I am probably going to see what happens with some non permanent sticky substance... or be doomed to having to get a case...

I don't have an issue if I do you have to hold the corrner longer than I care to stare at the screen. If you hate your peace of crap iPhone so much I'll buy it from you but sence you say it's defective it will be at a reduced price of course.
Yes I know but the iPhone4 in my hand has no issue but I like others don't feel like putting a video of my phone working normal on YouTube.
I'm with you on that. Everyone I know with an iPhone 4 does not have a problem. Why would they care to share with everybody that their new toy works? I'd be playing with my toy. and really, a case? Its not like they are designed to make your iPhone look ugly. Buy a case, wait for a fix, and play some games
If my hands are totally dry and free from any oil (like just after washing and drying) then it does not seem to be a problem, but with any moisture, sweat, or even normal oils on the hand, after about 30 - 40 seconds the bars slowly go away, and when removing my hand from the corner the bars come back.... So perhaps you 2 are aliens with different type of skin???
Well it's a shame that this phone NEEDS a case. I haven't had an issue due to the "death grip" yet, but I can replicate it. For me though it's not an issue at all, I have always had a case on my idevices most always an otterbox defender or silicon skin. For this one I'm waiting on my white bumper and just ordered a zagg invis-shield. I'm stuck with an ugly yellow rubber skin for now...
I've tried 3 different iPhone 4 including mine and I can replicate the issue in all of them. Normally like at my house it's not a big deal b/c i get five bars at home, i just go down to like 2. However at work, where i only get 2 bars, If i hold it on the bottom left corner it loses connection and I can't connect to the internet at all!! I do plan to buy a bumper though i really wish i didnt have to. I'd rather spend money on GAMES rather than on a case. See, $30 for a bumper...heck even $10 if you go cheap can get you right now, Real Racing and carcassone. OR fruit ninja, enigmo, doodle jump, pocket God, Warfare Inc, Red Conquest!, Highborn How dare apple deprive us of money for awesome apps
I read there giving the bumpers out for free and people who bought them get refunds until September 30, is this true?
Yeah Jobs said by then they might have a different solution. Which obviously means to me new hardware, as he also said in the same conf that you don't want to announce it too early or people will stop buying the current hardware.
