How to price a game?, mobile vs PC

    Hi everyone,

    I’m wondering what people’s opinions are on pricing of games that are available both on PC (steam/epic/itch/etc..) and mobile.

    Imagine a small, nice, fun game is available on PC for ~$5 - which is a fairly ‘normal’ price over there.

    If the same game is then released on mobile, unless with excellent marketing and lots of interest in the game- I’ve a feeling pricing it at $5 here as well, would mean zero downloads.

    What do you think? Even a 0.99 price on mobile seems challenging.

    Free with ads and/or iaps - or an iap ‘full unlock’ are options- but then there’s the flip side that the PC audience may think they’re being treated unfairly.

    What approach would you prefer?
