What? A Raider fan in England? Ha! Right on! I had Raiders season tickets for 4 years when they we're in L.A.! Not a fan anymore after Al Davis moved 'em back to Oakland. Been a Steeler fan since! I gave away all my Raider stuff long ago. If I knew you were a fan then, I'd send you all my memorabilia. Lot of stuff, it was. Those were some partying days, I'll tell ya!

    LONG time lurker, first post!

I am 42 years old, married, played three years of pro hockey including a full :57 shift in the NHL (woohoo! Or, really, kind of sad) and still game whenever I have a moment. I don't see myself ever stopping.

My mother is still playing video games at age 74, and has been a 'gamer' ever since she bought us an Intellivision system way back when. It keeps her sharp and entertained. I plan on following in her footsteps.

Also its nice to see older member posting's. Nice to know age factor doesn't get in the way of gaming.

She is quite awesome, indeed. Don't mess with Gamertag 'IronPetal' when playing UNO on XBL. She is not averse to trash talking :).

The woman is also deep into WazHack on her iPad 2. Numerous complaints about the blindness affliction in that one.

She is indeed awesome! Why can't my wife of 30 years be my gaming buddy? I dunno, same reason she won't be my fishing buddy. Not that I haven 't tried! She's had bad-ass fishing trips with me where she cought like 20 yellowfin tuna up to 50 lbs, 20 dorado up to 40 lbs, and she still said she really wasn't turned-on by the whole thing and I should take someone else next time. OK, then. That day I also cought the same kind of fish and also a Marlin at about 185 lbs and a Wahoo at 90 lbs. Guess I'm done trying with that! Oh, well.

Read through the first few pages, this certainly is an interesting forum :)
I've hanged out in several forums before, and I still do. I probably seldom use TA but when I do it's usually to discuss new iOS releases and if I have a particular question about a specific element in an iOS game. Where else is there a community for iOS gaming? I never imagined there would be one. Ever.

Anyways, I recently hit 17, and was extremely focused on school this year, perhaps gaming took quite a lot of sleep out of me, but I spent many nights studying nonetheless. I'm glad theres a diversity in age distribution on this forum, actually. Differing views are always welcomed. Another thing I noted though, your posts are heavily judged and used against you if need be, like the incident earlier in this thread. Well, people would learn to be careful with what they post, unlike some other shockingly (immature) gaming forums. I guess it adds a nice element, though, as you guys (for the most part) seem more intelligent too :) Maybe I'm wrong, I didn't fish through too many threads, so don't take word for word.
