Just curious how often people play on their iphone/ipod/ipad, whether you play it casually on and off throughout the day for a total of maybe an hour or so or whether you play like you would a home console for hours straight? Me personally I can spend huge chunks of time on Tower Defense or TBS/RTS games perfecting a strategy, but some people might like to just do the odd level on where's my water or alternativly play modern combat esque games for ages. Whats your stance?
I spend a great time of my day playing on my iPod touch and I gotta say the genre I like most is platformer and followed by puzzle/strategy games like Water?, Perry?, Cut The Rope, etc.
My phone tends to be with me all the time, so usually it's on and off throughout the day. 15 minutes between classes? Whip it out and do some playin' (yeah I went there ). Two hours between classes? Sure, I'll fire up a game and get on with it. Even at home though, if there's a game I'm particularly enamored with, I'll play it over anything my Steam collection has to offer. The caveat is, though, that I'll do that for any game on any platform. It's situational for me. If there's a game I enjoy, I play it - no matter what it's on. I guess my phone has become just another gaming platform in my arsenal.
I have school weekdays, so that disrupts my time on my iPod Touch. On weekends, I spent most of my time on TA or playing games. I have naps and things like that in between. On week days, as soon as I get in from school, I'm either on my iPod or desktop computer. I have a few hours after school, have dinner, and go back on it. Now, as I'm on summer break (Broke up on Friday), I will be on it as much as I can. Edit: Lol, forget to mention what I play! I have a Testflight account, so when I sign up for beta's, I play them. I like RPG's, Adventure, Action, those sort of genre's. The best games I have are by a gaming studio called "Spacetime". I'm not really into games such as "Fieldrunners", or Strategy based games, but when RAD Soldiers hits in the UK ill try that.
