May as well carry on with the thread then. I've spent OF MY OWN MONEY (so straight from my credit card): £1.19/$1.99 - Beatrider £1.79/$2.99 - Doom £0.59/$0.99 - Bloons £0.59/$0.99 - Defender Chronicles That's...£4.16/$6.96. I have spent probably over $20 from gift cards etc.
Last I checked, I spent around $74 or so on apps. But I honestly don't mind since a new PS3/Xbox 360 game costs $60 + tax. So for the price of a new console game + $15, I have more than 100+ games at my disposal.
1328.38 over 450 apps on my computer :/ wow maybe i need to stop buying apps and spending that money at the bar lol
Yeah, and look at the price of Galcon : Sep 15 $9.99 -> $4.99 Sep 14 Version 1.3 Aug 27 New App: $9.99, v1.2 It was $10 when he wrote that. Two months before the price drop.
Around $350 total. Some of that is from gift cards but it is still a lot of money to spend on games and apps over one year.
I'm thinking, I need Apps Anonymous !! I've spent $451.74!!! (most of this is from me doing computer side work) , if my wife saw how much I've spent on this Gadet, I'd be dead X-) I used this to figure out what I spent: http://wetfish.de/software_em.html 'Sorry Mac OS X Only'
It'd be interesting to see how much people pay in the App store in relation to what kind of device / phone plan they have. After paying for a data and voice plan, I can't see most people spending more than $5/month on apps every now and then. I'm a newbie to the iphone and have only about $25 worth of apps.
I've spent well over that, and only one wasn't a real game, more or less an entertainment app (that being Pocket God). Other than that, I don't even bother with movies or music anymore on iTunes, I just head straight for the appstore whenever I get a card. Plus it's definetly on par with many systems today, but with alot more games for a lower price. Just too tempting. And i was in the over 100 category. Just an estimate I might be a bit below that.
I've spent $288.22. Not as bad as I thought it would be. When I first got my ipod touch is when I spent the most money.
