Try it again in a few weeks, it really is possible to get into it. I finished all levels except for the very last one, and the unlockable levels (didn't get all banana's). And once you do get the hang of it, the levels will still be hard through so that it will give you enough playtime.
No problem, lots of good threads are moving to page 4, 5 or 6 and then a new one is started about the same subject. I'd prefer this thread to keep going instead of having to post about my spending in several topics.
Ok ... kinda shocked me when i just went through all the invoices .... £309 (yes thats pounds sterling....) so at current xchange rates around $500!!! :O
I don't really want to think about it. I spend a little bit almost every day, and I'm sure it adds up to real money -- but so does going out for lunch, drinks, coffee, etc. To answer your question more directly: definitely more than $200, possibly more than $300. Let's just say I need to learn that today's $9.99 is tomorrow's $4.99, $1.99, or FREE game. The problem is that I want it today, not tomorrow!
97.22 CAN $ when i first added all together i tough i spent way too much, but compared to all the ds games i have its nothing, i probably spent 750 for a total of about 30-40 games
After rounding up to the nearest dollar, I have spent 143 US dollars. But I have only spent $20 dollars of my own The rest were gift cards. (birthday, xmas, etc..) had them saved up.
The 350$ usd I spent since July really reaffirms my belief in piracy. This is due to the fact that probably only ~80 bucks of that 350 were apps that I used more than once. I'm pretty much done with legit apps until they instate some sort of a trial system. Even most java apps for mobiles have time restricted trial versions. So for now, I am trying before I buy. I will still support developers, but not those whose products I am going to use a single time and then never touch again.
Mine is 92 dollars since august Biggest receipt ever was $40 when rolando and simcity came out Most expensive apps are rolando simcity and crash kart, each $10 the others are all $5 or less
I've spent Ive spent $190 so far with taxes which is 13% in Ontario, Canada -worst app bought: Super MonkeyBall -Most used" AppSniper, Beejive, IM & WunderRadio -Fav games: Monopoly, Orions, Rolando & Warfare Inc.
I feel your pain, at least 80% of my purchases on my iPhone were apps that I used once and never again. However, I very much doubt you'll download a game, enjoy it, and then pay money for something you already have for free. It's a slippery slope, first you're doing it for good reason (you wanna try something before paying, fair enough), but I imagine the temptation to simply keep the good apps and not pay for the legit copy will be too powerful to resist.
