Somewhere between $120-200 the best way to put it in perspective is to compare it to $50 PC and PS3 games, what it boils down to is how much time you waste playing whatever it is, so I have no complaints. I do hope that dev's see the power of 99cent sales though
Wow I must have the will power of steel. I think I've maybe spent $50 on games for my iPod touch. I try to be very picky though. I see the touch as a internet tablet/casual gaming device rather than as a media player. As of late I've used it way more than my DS or PSP. While those devices no doubt offer a more full featured gaming experience so far, hopefully that will change as people come up with new ideas just like they did with the DS's touch screen and the Wii's motion controls. Not to mention the PSP's web browser is so slow its worthless while the iphone/ipod's is fast, polished, and useful. I just hope developers get a handle on the device to start bringing us more fully featured games more on par with PSP and DS titles. Let's Golf for example is very close to PSP's Hot shots golf but not quite as polished.
So far I only spent around 45 Euro. Since i can only pay with iTunes Gift Cards, I'm able to keep the costs relatively low. Otherwise I would have spent much more...
Wow, after reading the first few posts, I wondered how can people hit 3 digits....let alone 4?! I've spent $8 on Crystal defenders and then got a $25 itunes card for free and spent 22 on that. Total of $30 (actually make that 31, this featured touch ski game looks really good) New Total $31
Is this thread still being updated? I just did a rough count. I spent ~200 USD to date lol... Thats an average of 7 USD a week.
I´ve spent something around 72 Euro (I live in Germany ) and still got 8 Euro left on my account but I´ll soon have to get new money since I want to get Assassins Creed
I've spent $350+ on iPhone apps and games so far. I have been telling myself for a while and planning to semiretire from buying apps once Toki Tori and Zenonia come out. I hope I can be true to myself and not be like Brett Favre.
I've spent about $185 since I bought my iDevice in September 08. That's about $20.56 a month, not bad. I see it this way, I don't have my 360 or PS3 anymore and if I had them I'd be regularly buying games. That equals to about 3 console games. To me, the sum of 3 console games in 9 months is perfectly fine with me, and I still get my gaming fix, lol.
