I've been trying to find the answer for this question with Google, but couldn't find one. How many cars are there in Blur, in total?

Back of the game case says "over 55 licensed cars". I disagree about the frustration thing, it's a tough game but reasonably fair in most cases, and weapons are easy to block... it's about as easy as sleeping when compared to ModNation Racers which isn't fair in the slightest. Now that game is likely to drive me to murder.

I want Blur so bad. Unfortunately I'm slightly broke from RDR =P

Well I got it, and it's slightly depressing how the max amount of people online is around 2000.

Also, while you can find an infinite amount of videos demonstrating stuff on MW2, there isn't one demonstrating mods you unlock in Blur D=

How so? Blur, Need for Speed Shift, and Split Second were all pretty recent, and received good reviews.

I mean I just want a simple racing game something that is sexy and doesn't have power-ups or dynamic explosions.

In other words, I'm just looking for a clean-cut racing game. I'll need to check out Split Second though. hehe.

I love the way Split Second feels. Really nice tight controls, great graphics, and plenty of room on the tracks. And the explosions, the explosions make the game. But serious racers like GRiD and NFS: Shift don't catch my eye. Just too cut and dry.

Blur would've caught my eye if the car handling weren't as wonky. I never felt comfortable during the MP beta. And the tracks could've been a little wider. I bottle necked with everyone competing for 17th place. But it's got a really nice multiplayer set-up, though, as compared to Split Second which I expect gets old, quick.

A friend of mine played the Blur demo before it got taken down and is enraptured by the game. I might pick up a used copy later on to play with a friend, but I've had lots of frustrating moments in the game.

I learned to play defensively, not just aggressively. Makes a hell of a difference.

All you have to do is keep a barge/shield/bolt in your inventory during the race to block incoming shunts, as well as using the other two slots for offense, and all power up spamming problems disappear.

Also, later on you get an ECM mod, which lets you dodge shunts a ton easier.
