    My iphone was having battery issues (seriously, fully charged brightness 0 wifi off and push manual it would last less then an hour listening to MUSIC!) so i sent it into apple and now with brightness 50% wifi on and push manual it last 6 hours ish :)

    It depends. Continuous use, about 5-6 hours. I keep the brightness completely off, and WiFi off. With WiFi on, 4-5. Games, it varies, but generally 3-8. Standby, days. WiFi on, no Push, and light browsing, about 5.5. Music only, 0% brightness (always) I can listen for hours on end, and FreeMemory tells me that I still have 90%+ left. Online multiplayer is horrible, with usually 3 with TTR, 4 with Warfare Inc., and others are usually less time.

    So lets see

    Continuous, mixed use= 5-6 hours
    WiFi on, Push on, 15 minutes.= 3.5-5 hours
    Gaming, WiFi off= 3-8
    Standby/Off= Days
    WiFi, no Push, light usage= 5.5 hours
    Music= I'll just agree with Apple here, 36 hours.
    Online gameplay= 2-4 hours
    Video= 6 hours

    Some games last different times. Tanzen, I can play for 16 net hours. TTD or Fastlane is about 4.

    Ah, I see. I thought they had a memory effect.

    So I guess it shouldn't matter how I charge it.

    Yeah, mine goes somewhere around there, but only 3 hours playing HOS.

    at the most about 36 hours but that was with limited use. About 4-5 hours with battery consuming games like Hero of Sparta. I have a 1g iPod touch

    Anyone using a battery extender?

    I read reviews on the RichardSolo, Kensington, and Mophie, but was wondering if anyone had real world use and opinions for an iPhone 3g.

    thanks.

    Maybe 3 hours but it's not a big deal because I'm always at a computer or using my car charger..
