How Durable is the ipod touch

    I dropped my ipotch and how durable is it?? will the wifi entnna brake easily plus with the aceeloerometer?

    It's durable. Probably not depending on the height you dropped it from and what you dropped it on to.

    There's a difference in dropping it on sidewalk and carpet. Since you didn't stat it :rolleyes:

    ... wood carpet floor? is that like a wood floor that turns into carpet when you step on it? that's cool as hell!!!

    What i mean is its a wood floor with carpet over it

    It is pretty durable. I've dropped mine plenty of times.
    BUT I did drop it face flat on my wood floor about a week or two ago and now I have a spider-web crack covering the entire screen. Distracting, yes, but you forget it's there when you're actually doing something. AND the screen still works perfectly and recognizes every single touch.

    I was running down the stairs and it flew out of my hands down about 15 feet onto hardwood floor, and nothing happened. =]

    joking aside, it's really durable considering how much is in it. it fell out of my pocket onto asphalt. it still works fine. get a sleeve, though. Belkin makes really good ones. it reduces the shock when it gets dropped.
