I organize my games folders in a weird way. I organize them based on their battery consumption and whether they are pick-up-and-play games or not.
Creating folders on the iPhone 4 and other Apples devices is quite simple through following the easy process listed below. In order to create a folder, one should click and hold the wanted app on the screen until it all the apps start shaking. Next, one should select the apps they want and then drag those aps to drop it into another app that you want to put in a folder. This process can be continued until you have put all apps in want in which ever folder you prefer. If you want to create another folder, then just go through and select your wanted apps again and sort them as preferred. This folder feature proves especially useful to those people who constantly work with many different apps on their Apple devices.
I decided to re-organize my folders because of this thread, I now have them organized by genre. I don't really like the look of all the folders(miss CategoriesSB) though, but I think this will actually get me to play my games a bit more.
Alphabetical folders for the games... games that start with A or B go folder "A/B Games"... etc. I tried the genre idea, too, but ended up just going alphabetically.
ChrisL what theme is that? I organize my games using FolderEnhancer so I can put them all in one folder, and so I can nest genres together. It makes everything a thousand times easier. I also change most of my app icons.
It means having root level access to your device. Basically, you can install apps and tweaks that Apple doesn't allow.
It is possible to mess up your device, but have to know exactly what you're doing. And you can restore and get rid of 99% of the traces of jailbreaking.
I'm incredibly disorganised. I just keep stuff arranged as it appears on the when I install it. I seem to remember where all my games are anyway, even if there's tons of them. The positive result of this is that when turning pages to get to a game I want to play I'll see something else I've not played in a while and say "hmm, I should play that again sometime!" My dad likes to use my iPod Touch for some things (Guardian, TuneIn Radio, etc.) so I try to make sure the stuff he likes to use is on the front page, so it's easier for him to find - better than hiding it amongst my disorganised mess!
I have Racing folders, Premium folders (for games £2.99 or more roughly) Pick up n play folders, utilities/books/music and Rarely Played folders!
