I'm running out of space on my computer's hard drive and don't have enough space to sync my iPhone anymore. I've tried in the past do move the apps to an external hard drive but then when I sync my iPhone they just copy right back onto my computer. I've also tried moving my iTunes music folder through the preferences but when I sync my iPhone the apps still sync to my computer. I'm using 10.5.8. Any help is appreciated it.
Just back everything up with Time Machine. Open iTunes, click help, type in "back up". There's an entry that'll explain everything.
