    Hi,

I've never ussed BitTorrent in my life.

Now I am very interested in the sound effects libray that is currently offered by Sonniss. See Frontpage for more Details.

I downloaded a small Torrent-File and opened it in Free Download Manager.

Not a single byte coming through though.
I thought Torrents are supposed to be fast and coming from a lot of sources at once?

Am I doing something wrong, or is there a different Torrent that would work?

    Thanks!

Download uTorrent (click on Free Download) and install it. After that, download the torrent here and open it in uTorrent.

Or do as Shirika said, but I never had problems with uTorrent. There are 2 ads displaying in the GUI (I don't see it going beyond that), but you don't spend any time looking at the program anyway.

    Thanks guys,

I was hoping to do without installing new software, but thanks anyway.

Meanwhile I have found a direct link that was very fast and I have already downloaded it "the old way" ;-)

    Cheers

I've used utorrent for at least a year without any bother, but the last two months have been so bad, it freezes my whole system up every time it launches, I'll cancel it from running at start up but it always always re appears, I've uninstalled it and PC is running like a dream again, I don't use torrent files that much so I've not installed anything else yet but when I do it certainly won't be utorrent.

As long as it's legal using a page like http://www.bitlet.org/ should work fine theres no need to install something at all.
