He made it, apparently. If anything, someone like IMNS should have been the one to make it.

 

Here's how to become a senior member: you have to be 50 yrs. Or older.
If not, here's an alternative method: First, send me $100. Second, name your child ImNoSuperMan, Third, Proclaim everything you know about iOS gaming is wrong while eating a jar of mayonnaise and while singing bark at the moon. Fourth rule, don't talk about senior members. Finally, completely disregard everything I just said because I was lying . But seriously, to become a senior member, you need 100 posts.

 

All you have to do is tell DG you're over 5000. There's no other requirement.

 

I may not have 5000 posts. BUT MY POWER LEVEL IS OVER 9000!

But seriously, I might not be HoF worthy now, but trust me, I'm here to stay.

I think LBG and Midian are worthy too.

I kinda made the group for people who I think are truly Hall of Fame worthy. LBG deserves to be in the HoF simply because of all the laughter he has given us and IMNS is there because, well, because he's IMNS. So each person I invite is basically for a different reason. I also invited Midian since he holds the record for most posts (not including Hodapp of course.) And I made the front page. So if you have done something here that sets you aside from every other member, please PM me so I can invite you.

btw, if you think theres a member here who is HoF worthy, tell me.

 

Why the obsession with post count? I would think the higher the post count, the worse, because it shows you spend a lot of your time on a site devoted to iPhone gaming, rather than actually gaming or doing something else productive. I would applaud those who use this site as a tool to be better informed about iOS gaming, and who do not focus on the number of (often irrelevant) contributions they make to it.

 

So basically everyone who wants to join the Hall of Fame has to go through a "selection process" by someone who isn't even HoF-worthy yet? Man, these groups are wayyyy too confusing for me.

 

I'm going to let the group decide if the person is worthy of joining, not just me.

I haven't been here the longest, I don't have the most posts, or threads, and I'm not a member of every single group. But I do love this site, it's given me hours upon hours of entertainment, and if my place here is a Future Garbage Truck Driver, sign me up

 

I don't know if you meant that as a joke, but Hodapp used his l33t admin skills to alter his post count a while back... when we were talking about high post counts. I can't even remember if he's broken 5000 or not.

 

I wish he was more active in discussions here, he has a lot of good insights.
