Unless there was special access to hidden sections of the forum with higher post counts, I wouldn't bother much about it. xP Though posts counts do help in knowing whether or not a member is active and trustworthy. But the I think the trust thing can be determined just by looking at the member's posts and not just his post count.
But how would you know that you don't get special access to hidden sections. The key word there being hidden
There is just something satisfying for some about reaching a "milestone" in post count. Personally, I don't really mind having a relatively low post count, as long as my posts are worth it and not "meaningless crap" as you say.
True, but this is the "Hall of Fame", only truly amazing people deserve to be there. If anything though LBG is more worthy than crex.
