Hah...not so for some other newbies I've seen.

 

At 2000 posts you are (unofficially) an elite member. There's a group for that, but only true nerds who live in TA are accepted.

 

You could reach 100 posts in 4 days. I've had days where I post 30+ times.

 

At 10,000 you are (unofficially) renamed MidianGTX

 

almost there... In a week I should get there

 

There's also a group for 5,000 posts

 

Actually coconutbowling, for our admission/join date we both are rather on the low side but I take that as we only post something of worth. (trying not to be to serious with this)

But I've seen some rack up post counts as high as yours within a couple months time with alot of "+1's" or meaningless crap just to achieve this. Some can be pretty sly though.
I never understood where a high post count means a higher status but if they are posting worthy stuff than I can accept that. I'm sure alot of it has to do with flame wars or big debates. Either way I'm not impressed and only by whats being posted at the time.

 

Is that still up to date? I've got the feeling there are people missing that should be in there.

Kind of rethinking the post count thing and I suppose having a high post count can also mean helping TA keep the forums active and all. So it can be a good thing for the most part, I suppose.

 

I don't have anything meaningful to say here but am randomly posting just to up my count... errr... (unofficial) elite club here I come.

 

Wait... I'm started my own elite club... you are all unofficially members... except for a few of you who are unofficially banned from my elite club.

 

I think Midian should create his own group just for himself called the Super Mega Ultimate Elite Posters Club of Awesomeness!!!
