My music collection is 84 gigs right now. I know it seems like a lot but I've listened to and know 99% of it. I keep a giant playlist in WinAmp of every song, and I usually just randomize it. Then I pick the first 500 or so songs to put on my iPod Touch (8gb). Sometimes I want songs that I know/like especially, so I keep another playlist of those, and I randomize it too.

How big is your music library, and how do you manage it on your iDevice?

My library is nowhere that big, but I can see how after a while, a snowball effect occurs. I've got 7.38 gigs worth, so my 32 GB is plenty.

i got 32GB on my computer and just sync my favourite artists and playlists to my ipod, which ends up being around 8GB of my 16GB ipod touch, leaving me with the rest for apps and movies

I have around 63gb of music. I can't fit it all on my iPod so I have to make playlists and choose certain albums and whatnot.

It was bordering on 50GB, but I lost a chunk of it recently due to a hard drive crash so it's down to 38GB now. And I was days away from backing up too.

I keep my music limited at around 10GB, because I just don't see the point in having more than that with me. There's about 3 - 4 GB of my favourites that never move, 4 - 5 GB of stuff I like that changes around every few months, and then around 1 or 2 GB of new music that I change every few syncs.

9.63 GB of music on my iPod and PSP, though the PSP is a horrible music player so I will probably only have my music on my iPod in the future.

I have around 40gb of music on my PC. My old device was a 8gb 3GS and I only selected my favorite music to put on it- it still took up half the storage.

I have a 16gb iphone4 now and I have absolutely zero music on it to save space for games and other apps.

I've got about 207 gigs of music on my laptop at home >.>

How I manage it? Don't ask. lol

Currently my iPod touch 32g is shot and doesn't work anymore so yeah... but before that I just pretty much put my uttermost MUST HAVE albums on there, like all the In Flames, Iced Earth, Opeth, Dark Tranquility, Radiohead, At the Gates, blah blah blah. I switched out albums a lot though depending on taste. That happened at least once a week. It;s hard to manage that much music.

And while I may not listen to 100% of the music on my laptop (My wife listens to Lady Gaga and shit like that ontop of the shit we like together) I do listen to a good majority of it. I say about 93% of it. Good shit.

    P.S. I love music. lol

I really wish that I could fit more on my ipod. I usually hand pick all of the music I put on my ipod starting with the newest music I bought and the going to my favorites and then what I think I'd listen to on a regular basis.
    I have this much music:

22 gigs of my 32gb touch is dedicated to music - I don't manage playlists, I prefer listening to albums.

I have about 300-400gigs of music - most of it is from vinyls I have ripped and mastered to MP3.

My entire collection is fully tagged and organized.

I'd say I have listened to 60% of my music collection.
