4,054 apps in iTunes/Mac. Mostly games. Mostly bought when they were on sale or free. Spent about 500-600 (guessed) Euro for apps since I have my iPhone 3G (2.5 years). The iOS devices became my prime hobby besides (real) classic cars (Citroën).

1,231 iPad apps, 328 installed on iPad 2 64GB. Here you have a screenshot with my most expensive app:

    94 on iPad 1 16GB.

    263 on iPhone 3G 16GB.

    319 on iPhone 4 32GB.

I have a total of 615 apps, of which 570 are games - all acquired since November 2010.

I keep a maximum of 200 games on my iPad (10 folders).
Out of those 200 I pull out 5 games and leave them on the desktop to play and focus on at any given time.

I don't play games on my iPhone.

I could never bring myself to buy any of them, lol. Don't like flying games, especially sims. But yeah, it's categorized as a game on iTunes.

    I'm not sure how many apps I have total, but I do know I have a lot. I would say I've put about 4-$500 dollars, mainly on games. I'm a huge advocate for the iOS platform so, it's worth it. Due to space, I let games come and go. I only keep the games that I'm currently into on my device. Right now I'm fairly content with this line-up;

    Order and Chaos
    Shadow Era
    N.O.V.A 2
    Pocket Legends
    Dungeon Defender
    Mission Europa
    Bug Heroes
    The Quest Gold
    Dead Space
    Zenonia 3
    Real Racing 2
    Galaxy on Fire 2
    Samurai 2
    Infinity Project
    Assassins Creed 2 Multiplayer
    Dungeons and Dice
    Alive 4 Ever
    Revolt
    Aftermath
    Prisoner84
    WarSquared
    Battleheart
    Empire Online
    Shadow Cities

that line-up has me pretty contented, for the time being at least. Also, I must add... EVERYBODY GO BUY ASSASSINS CREED II MULTIPLAYER. It's an awesome app... It just needs more players.

Just updated to 10.3.1 for iTunes. My purchased list says I've only downloaded 1609 apps in total, including all free apps and paid apps. The number is a lot smaller than I'd expected considering all the numbers being thrown around in this thread and that I've been downloading stuff since December 2008. Then again, it's been a long, long time since I've downloaded a lite or a free game. Only got 420 apps on iTunes, my personal quota.

Wow becuase every time I update all my apps get pulled out of their meticously placed folders does this happen to you.

I had this happen to me, and the only way to fix is to wipe your device clean, and start over. It was a pain, but worth it.

Here's what you can do open itunes and it should have the number of all the apps you have officially purchased and then count all of your cydia apps seprately

Downloading Tikal for sale this morning pushed me over 1,100 apps. Approximately 90% of those are games. I'm not as good about deleting apps as I should be, but I'm always afraid that a game will stop being available on the App Store right after I delete it, like what happened to Sword and Poker for awhile.
