    Rank update!

Okay... just for fun, I processed all of the data and posts on this thread to see where everyone stands (rank-wise) in the running for the Grand Prize...

So far (taking into account who has solved the most, who has helped the most, who has tried the hardest, who has the best manners, who has accumulated the most eligibility points, who has been given the most eligibility points, who has really tried, who has dropped the most hints, who has given it their all despite chasing red herrings and going off on wild goose chases, who has finally understood the hints, who has used both sides of their brain to the fullest, who has stepped in at the last second to solve the puzzle, who has taken the wildest guesses, who has come up with the most amazing deciphering ideas, who has blown the most gaskets, who has lost the most sleep, who has shown the most devotion to deciphering, who was the fastest at solving the puzzles, who has solved the most puzzles in a row, who has spoon-fed the answer to other players, who has been spoon-fed the answer by other playersÂ…etc) this is the updated top 10 list of names of who currently has the best chance of winning the grand prize of a Parrot AR. Drone (a cool hover toy!!!)

    6. cloudcastles
    7. Daldaris
    8. da shiz wiz 19
    9. warcrack
    10.KoOne23

Note: This list may change depending on how the rest of the contest continues... As you can see (if you look through this thread)... we've had quite a shuffle of names as we've progressed through this contest! So you never know! You've got to be in it for a chance at the Grand Prize! So get in there!

If your name hasn't made the list - you need to try harder (you may just be in position 11)!

Extra note: You don't need to actually solve the puzzles in order to be eligible... you may earn eligibility by just being helpful in the thread!

    Good luck everyone!

Be on the look out for more puzzles!! :D

The middle three got me Titanic.

    Top three= Poor + red + man?
    Hobo + red + man?
    Poor + donut + man?
    Poor + hole + man?

Other than Titanic that shiz mentioned, I have no idea...

The man with the big eyes could be "stare" or "see"

The bottom picture can be "pass-enger".
But no idea to the top three.
    beggar
    donut/ring
    see ("sea") can be good.

see I told ya staulcub choked on the last one. I've got a few ideas I will share after a little bit. Nothing earth shattering tho. I've been swamped at work and am currently try to run a test in our computer lab. Hopefully back in about and hour.

I gotta say that I am kinda stumped on this one. I agree that the middle three are tie+tan+ick=TITANIC. My inclination is that the first three are tramp+o+lean=TRAMPOLINE. I have no idea about the last one though, and I could be wrong on the first three.

Don't forget that this Dispensing machine (like the oil machine) can be quite cryptic... so maybe this puzzle isn't perfectly straight forward... maybe we need to take what we know so far about this puzzle and... follow the thought process through to the solution. ;)

with that I'll throw in some of my thoughts. I could be themed around titanic, that seems like the obvious solution to the middle pictures. I was bouncing around solutions to the first part like 'Hobo' + 'o' + 'ken(like the ken doll' to come up with 'Hoboken (NJ)' trying to fit that with 'Titanic' and then the third part, things like 'Departure' ( I know it didn't depart from here, but there were people from here on the boat). Which hasn't gotten me anywhere.

I also can make a case for 5 and maybe 6 of the pictures dealing with the color red. Red sack, red o/donut, red head/hair, red tie, red skin (sun burned) and the last red herring?!? again can't fit the last picture into that sequence.

another thought was, the hobo has a big toe showing, show along the big them was, big toe, big o/donut, big eyes, ?, big smile, big pile... again nothing further.

reaching further, the sack is tied to the pole, so we could end up with something like 'Tie red (o) eyes' = tired eyes.

I'm like everyone else and can't figure out a good answer for the last one. I do like 'Titanic' and 'Trampoline' atleast for starters, but now that garbot1 has made his voice heard, maybe we arn't being cryptic enough here.

oh well, just my three cents worth (inflation ya know).

The last one could be another T word.

    Or perhaps they indicate direction.
You bounce 'up' on the trampoline, the Titanic went 'down', the person is walking through or out.

    TRAMPOLINE: bounce, boing, spring, up
    TITANIC: sink, ship, big, down
    ??????

Any clue as to which direction to pursue?

Is it something along the lines of JUMP SHIP AND WALK OUT?
