a person doing a swan dive (the two longest extensions are the arms and legs thrown back, the biggest round thing is the head, the first hump is the chest sticking out a, the second hump could be like a skirt bottom or something) a buffalo (the two longest extensiton are the legs and the biggest round end is the head, with the closest hump the shoulder and the last hump the rear end.) somebody reaching out for something (in a robe, the two longest extensions are the arms, one of which has a sleeve billowing out and the little hump between them is the head) (american)football player (again the biggest round thing is the head, the first hump is an arm bent at the elbow surrounding the ball, the top extension is the other arm, the bottom extension is one of the legs, the lower hump is a leg bent at the knee) in the same vein as football player, iceskater, dancer (where the arm is bent at the elbow and a leg is bent at the knee and so on) and now that I have people on the brain, thats all I can seem to see at the moment.
Hmm... There is something about that silhouette that is very familiar... ... where have I seen this before? Think... think...
Auto-message from garbot1: Unbelievable! You deciphered my 24th encrypted data packet! Thank you - you deserve a reward! To claim your prize, you need to be the first person to post the following to the official Hover World Alternate Reality Game thread at TouchArcade.com: 1. Password: SHADOWIMAGE_MEM_RECOVER_24 2. Precise details of how you found this page (be sure to mention this URL "iphone.ezone.com/IMG_1051")! 3. At this point you have a choice: You can claim which Ezone.com app you would like as a prize, and earn SOME eligibilty points - which go towards your chance of winning the grand prize (A really cool hovering Parrot A.R.Drone). or You can forfeit the Ezone.com app prize, and earn EVEN MORE eligibility points towards your chance of winning the grand prize. or You can be really nice and selfless, and forfeit the Ezone.com app prize AND nominate another Hover World Alternate Reality Game thread member to have their eligibility points increased SOME (this in turn will earn you EVEN MORE MORE eligibility points!) Good karma and all that! PLEASE NOTE: Once YOU nominate someone - YOU can't nominate them again for the duration of the contest... you can, however, choose someone YOU haven't nominated yet! (We want to make it fair don't we?) Share it around! Well, what are you waiting for? Hurry up, someone else may be posting the winning entry right now!!
Darn, and I thought it looked like garbot1, when I posted before. And then missed the message above. Well Nice Work staulcub! You are on a roll.
Thanks for the congrats. I have a 9 year old son who would love the Parrot A.R. Drone, so I'm on a mission to solve as many of these puzzles as I can. It is really nice that this contest exists so I can have a chance to interact with a lot of other smart people (and a certain robot who shall remain nameless as well!).
Ya, me to, wink wink nudge nudge. Altho they say we live thru our children But I have you beat. My son (also have a daughter) is a bit(or is that 2 bits?...) older than yours. It never ceases to amaze me how creative people are. I think there is a good bunch here and if we wouldn't keep wandering off the path and have to have garbot1 rescue us (maybe he's a rescue bot!?!) we could claim we are smarter than we really are. So everyone keep up the good work and input.
That's just freakin' incredible. You've got some good eyes staulcub! Nice work My son is not quite old enough to appreciate the drone just yet, he's only 2. But I could chase his around the house with it
Thanks cjsbug. I also have a 3 year old son who wouldn't fully appreciate it, but I'm sure he would fight with his brother over it.
Rank update! Okay... just for fun, I processed all of the data and posts on this thread to see where everyone stands (rank-wise) in the running for the Grand Prize... So far (taking into account who has solved the most, who has helped the most, who has tried the hardest, who has the best manners, who has accumulated the most eligibility points, who has been given the most eligibility points, who has really tried, who has dropped the most hints, who has given it their all despite chasing red herrings and going off on wild goose chases, who has finally understood the hints, who has used both sides of their brain to the fullest, who has stepped in at the last second to solve the puzzle, who has taken the wildest guesses, who has come up with the most amazing deciphering ideas, who has blown the most gaskets, who has lost the most sleep, who has shown the most devotion to deciphering, who was the fastest at solving the puzzlesÂ…etc) this is the updated top 10 list of names of who currently has the best chance of winning the grand prize of a Parrot AR. Drone (a cool hover toy!!!) 1. hiurdin 2. cloudcastles 3. staulcub 4. pajo_ojap 5. jwcasser 6. cjsbug 7. da shiz wiz 19 8. Daldaris 9. KoOne23 10. speed4mee Note: This list may change depending on how the rest of the contest continues... As you can see (if you look through this thread)... we've had quite a shuffle of names as we've progressed through this contest! So you never know! You've got to be in it for a chance at the Grand Prize! So get in there! If your name hasn't made the list - you need to try harder (you may just be in position 11)! Extra note: You don't need to actually solve the puzzles in order to be eligible... you may earn eligibility by just being helpful in the thread! Good luck everyone! The next puzzle is coming soon...
I need your help again... Here's my latest optical video link... See... I said the next puzzle was coming soon! Anyone have any ideas?
its another shadow picture that looks like either "breakdance" or "thesplits" but can't get either to work. But its off to work now. its also has some morse code going on in the background, but I don't have the tools to slow it down enough to figure out what it is.
Good god man get a job! Congrats, and Nice work again! If I wasn't at work I would have tried harder to figure things out. I was confident the picture was 'thesplits'. I was on the right track. I tried splits, splitsthe and the/splits at home but didn't think about reverseing the letters. Thanks for the nomination. How did you grab the morse code?
I had narrowed the pictures down to breakdance, disco09, and thesplits. From the hand position in the shadow picture, I thought that thesplits was the best choice. I tried it to no avail, then I just tried it backwards and it worked. No morse code. BTW - I am at work. Our company blocks the ezone site, so I had to use my cell phone.
