Well, whatever it is, I hope those of us who don't qualify for the Grand Prize could get a code for Hover World as a consolation prize.
I haven't seen anything that say you're out of the running. From the looks of the "Memory Reconstruction Status" we have a ways to go.
Hi, Me too, this looks to be just an amazing game that both me and my son would enjoy the heck out of. David
Okay... just for fun, I processed all of the data and posts on this thread to see where everyone stands (rank-wise) in the running for the Grand Prize... So far (taking into account who has solved the most, who has helped the most, who has tried the hardest, who has the best manners...etc) this is the top 10 list of names of who's up for the grand prize!!! 1. hiurdin 2. cloudcastles 3. pajo_ojap 4. jwcasser 5. staulcub 6. Daldaris 7. cjsbug 8. speed4mee 9. warcrack 10. KoOne23 Note: This list may change depending on how the rest of the contest continues... If your name hasn't made the list - you need to try harder (you may just be in position 11)! Extra note: You don't need to actually solve the puzzles in order to be eligible... you may earn eligibility by just being helpful in the thread! Good luck everyone!
I'm thinking a copy of Hover World would be an excellent prize. Grand or otherwise. But alas... it seems one of the few ezone games I don't own is Scarecrow, so that would seem appropriate for solving the last contest. Thanks for the congrats. Its been a busy week already and going to get busier at work. I've been lucky, I guess, in the two contests puzzles I have solved just seemed to kinda lend themselves to the way I think or the solution just sort of presented itself. Not that they were easy by any means. Boy talk about garbot1 talking it up about a grand prize. It's got me kinda pumped, but haven't really got a clue or guess at this point. With all the neat puzzle contests I guess he would be the one to brag about it tho. With all the info about the broom closet he was in I couldn't help but liken it to the way Space Quest starts out. Everyone keep up the great work at getting garbot1 back on track. Its way past bedtime here, morning comes way to early...ack...its already morning.
Wow, I can't believe I'm no. 2 since I've only solved two puzzles, and others have solved the toughest ones! I wish I had a better puzzle-brain.
Hi, I would like to be helpful and compete here but these puzzles are just going over my head, maybe I am just too old. My wife is always saying I am, anyways. Good luck to all. David
I guess there were a lot of comments between the last one I read and my last post. I also can't believe I'm listed as being in 3rd. Wow, truthfully I like trying to solve these puzzles. The prize is just a bonus, nice I'll grant you, but not necessarily what's keeping me coming back for more. I was just going to say that I actually did have a guess at the grand prize which someone else had mentioned but doubted that it would be it. I think there could be a strong possiblity of an ipod/ipad offering. That would be very grand indeed. Of course I wouldn't scoff at winning anything at this point. You have to assume that it will be more than a $10 gift card, since that was already awarded as one of the contest prizes. Of course I don't know how much Hover World will initially be offered for, maybe it will be a special autographed version or something. With the winners name somehow making it into the game. Later hoverites
Well Harpgliss... you just earned yourself some moral-support/good-karma points! So you never know...
I thought you would have been first, seeing how you solved that last, most cryptic puzzle that I had absolutely no clue about!
Hi, Thanks, been following the thread from the beginning but, not being able to solve the puzzles, have not posted till now. Great thread and great way to build interest in, what looks to be a great game. David
Grand Prize! Now you're talking! But... no I decided to check my memory again for any more details about the Grand Prize... ... all I found was this video:
Hi, That is really nice looking and would be a great grand prize, if it is it, or something close to it. David
Wow, that would be an awesome Grand Prize indeed! Unfortunately my luck has not been awesome this past month. Even when I won stuff I did not really get them: a $20 gift card I still haven't gotten after a few weeks cuz the developers had trouble with their credit card at the time; and the world's most horrible camcorder (Flip Video), which was essentially DoA. Their idiot tech support actually asked me to remove the batteries for 48-72 hrs so any residual electricity would dissipate from the device so it would hopefully reset itself -- which of course it didn't. I'm just gonna discard it so I don't have to pay any shipping charges for a worthless replacement. Anyhow, sorry I digressed.
Wow the AR Hovering Drone is quite something, although make sure not to step on it accidentally mistaking it for a hoverboard! That would be pretty much awesome if that is the grand prize...along with a copy of Hover World of course!!!
I am fascinated with the hover drone and how it has the autopilot feature quoted below. "AUTOPILOT The AR.Drone autopilot allows easy take-off and landing. After take-off, autopilot stabilizes the quadricopter at 50 centimeters (1.7 ft) high. When the pilot removes his fingers from the iPod Touch®/iPhone® screen, the autopilot puts the AR.Drone in hover mode. The autopilot will also take command when the Wi-Fi connection is lost. It stabilizes the AR.Drone before a soft landing. If you receive a call while flying the quadricopter, the autopilot stabilizes it and lands after few seconds." It looks like it would be beneficial having wifi-extenders around the house but if not the autopilot has got your back!
11th data packet found!! Here's an update of what I've been up to Well, I tried asking the robot-part dispensing-machine to dispense a new matching pair of optical circuits to fix my "eyes" It said "That will be 4000 credits but as you already tried to hot-wire my dispensing circuits, I assume you don't have any money!" I went on to ask "Please! Can't you spare a cheap pair?" It replied with "I could give you a non-matching pair for half price but as we have already established that you don't have any money, this offer will still do you no good!" I said "Even if I could afford it, it would do me no good I need a matching pair otherwise I could blow a fuse and fry my internal optical drive for good!" It replied with "Well, that's your problem!" I then tried to appeal to it's better nature (hoping it had one) by saying "Pretty please! Pretty please, with a cherry on top!" It gave me a blank refusal, stating that I was "an inferior moronic machine with no intelligence at all!" I tried to reason with it - saying that I had lost massive parts of my memory its reply was "Just because you were stupid enough to lose your memory doesn't mean I have to help you!". The cheek! Anyway I stopped talking to the infuriating machine and started searching my memory for more encrypted data packets... ... I found another data packet!!! The 11th one, to be precise. It's a doozy!! At first I thought it was more binary code 4 = 0 10 1110... but it went on 3110 132110 1113122110 311311222110 ?????????????? And that was it! Bizarre?! I ended up showing it to the dispensing machine (hoping to fry its logic circuits). It stated that it was an elementary puzzle, and that if I couldn't figure it out, it just proves that I was a moron!!! I argued that my intelligence chip had been affected by my loss of memory, I also went on to say that perhaps if I finally managed to restore my memory fully, then I may end up being smarter than it! It was quiet for a moment, then it replied "Maybe so dumb-dumb, but until then - I'm the genius in the room - so there! Nah!" It then zapped me with an digitally-encoded-electro-magnetic-pulse!!! After I recovered from that (about half and hour later), I searched my memory again I couldn't believe what I found! That horrible machine had altered the 11th data packet!!! It had attached further parts to the encryption! This is what it added --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Okay dumb-dumb! Seeing that you think you are so smart I've attached an additional encryption to your 11th data packet!! If you can decipher it (and add it to the first part of the puzzle), it will prove your high intelligence, and I will give you the matching optical circuits that you require for free! Additional Puzzle: My inventory states that I contain 8 white optical circuits, 4 red optical circuits, 6 yellow optical circuits, and 2 black optical circuits. Since your current optical circuits don't work - you can't see to know which color is which for me to dispense! So I ask you this... What's the least number of optical circuits that I would I have to dispense to you to ensure that you had a matching pair? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yikes! Now, if only I could solve this puzzle - I would finally get my eyes working, and get more of my memory back!! Someone please help!!! Thanks team!!

Woohooo!! Legend!!!!!!!!! That was AWESOME deciphering! More eligibility points for you!!! How did you figure it out?! Details!? Yeehaa!!! I'm going to get my eyes to work again!!!! Thank you!!! Dispensing machine here I come!
