Just keep raising the popularity of the things she visits. I had trouble at first also, but got her once her room + a visit to the spa was enough to put her over the top. Here are some more compatibilities I found so far: Room (any) + Karaoke Room All down Room (any) + Cafe Men up Room (any) + Fortuneteller Women up Pachinko Machine + Arcade Men up Salon + Fortuneteller Women up
And here's few more that haven't been mentioned. Sucks that women get salon and fortuneteller to improve compatibility for rooms, and men so far only have the cafe. Get all eight trophies and you get a monkey guest called Chimp X or something. Satisfy him and you get the large baths. It says if you get them before year 15, you carry them into the next game. Although, I got them in year 16 and started a new game, and they were available. There is a bath effect called Spa. Here are the bath effects I have uncovered so far. I'm in my 11th year, have bought out all land contracts, have finished investing in all projects I get notified about, yet still don't have access to many things, it seems which some of you have mentioned (ping pong table, cafe, arcade)... I've been ranked #1 on 3 of 6 magazines so far; maybe that's the missing piece?
What is a good way to get No.1 on all magazines? I've gotten to no.1 on one mag and no.2 on another by year 7 :\ Can someone who has done it all perhaps post a walkthrough of how to build a good springs layout?
When looking through the guidebooks there is a 'Hint' button, which shows you which 3 groups to target and tells you to increase the popularity of all your facilities (depending on which guidebook). Popularity is really important in order to level up your target groups. I found the bath guidebook difficult because I only had 1 heart for both Jacuzzi and Spa. I didn't even know that there were more bath effects besides from Jacuzzi and Spa (e.g., Silky Smooth, etc.). Here is a layout to increase all bath effects (I haven't tried this myself, but it should work according to one of the translated wiki sites):
Click on BUILD, then the icon that has the bulldozer on it, to delete items. As far as I know, there is no way to MOVE set pieces or to get money back after selling/demolishing them.
My layout for 3-star In Crowd effect (Youth up). Probably not the best, but anyway: Edit// Yeah, the furthest rooms are inaccessible until I get another land expansion. :X
