Thank you for update guys. Horn is wonderful game. One of most beautiful games if not most beautiful one. I love story and gameplay is great. I agree with others that more control layouts would be nice. Specialy after playing Lili. Anyway great game.

Finally, widescreen support. I wasn't sure I'd ever play this, but latest update has the goods.

Indeed. They say iphone 5 optimized but after the update still no fullscreen.
The game is now 2,04 Gb big and the update failed.

hmm, no widescreen on this update, have had this game on iphone 4 first, didnt play as waited for extra textures on my iphone 5!!

this game is quality so i guess i can wait a bit longer but thought iphone 5 support would have been a little bit quicker in turning up!!!

Is it true that the game looks crappy on an Iphone 4? And that it is laggy too? What about the recent update?
They said older devices are now supported more.
I'm really having trouble making a decision whether to buy it or not.
A detailed report would be really helpfull. Please anyone tell me. Thanks.
Current device: Iphone 4, 32 gb. IOS 6.0.1

Trust me, they suck, even the skyboxes are missing! Textures look terrible, the game has NO lighting, but it does hold a steady FramRate... I strongfuly disliked my experience with the game because I couldn't get over the "Rayman 2" textures and the absence of any lighting, but you might be different...

IMO that's a shame. Phosphor was such a good company (Dark Meadow)...

That's wierd...so it looks stunning on a 4S (I have the game and a 4S), but crap on a 4, and doesn't fit the screen on a 5? That's some strict device targetting right there.

The graphics are marginally sharper now, but things are a hell of a lot more choppy on the iPod touch 5g than they were before... and we still have to watch that dumb intro every single time! Glad I saved an older version, sure the graphics will look slightly worse, but they'll at least be smooth again.

Has anyone tried the new Quest Mode? What exactly are you meant to be doing? I'm just stuck in a tiny enclosed area at the start with a locked gate, and apart from shooting one of those flying things with the crossbow, I don't have a clue what I'm supposed to be doing. Am I missing something?

There are two doors in starting location leading to quests.

Yeah thanks, I didn't see the steps leading down at the left hand side, through the archway. I thought I'd run into a bug right from the start but I'm up and running now.

For now I've discovered at least three quest "directions". Also after spending ten levels on treasure door i haven't received my award ( blueprints) from chest.

yeah, I am reluctant to launch the game because I really dislike that intro!
Why they don't get rid of this or at least allow to skip it... such a stupid move on their part...

Really disappointed about the update not bringing fullscreen support.

An interesting thing is that the Japanese update description does not contain (anymore?) the optimized for iPhone5, ipod touch 5th gen.
Just "optimized for iPad mini and new iPad"...

As has been explained many times, that intro is a loading screen. Would you rather see a loading bar?

I don't spend my life reading this thread.

If it has been said many times, it does prove that there is a problem.

I'd rather have them optimized the loading by lazy loading stuff more and rethink their loading strategy to begin with because this is REALLY long to kickstart a menu.

The old school loading screen with hints and a progressing bar is well understood by the end user, gives an idea of the process going on, takes into account each machine spec so that it may be faster on newer gen machine (instead of freezing it into n seconds)
Obviously it is also less subject to misunderstanding. This is not really the place where game should try to be creative, especially if it seems to fail.
