Ah, the game has gone on a little sale just over a month after a release. Oh, how surprising. Anyway, where's the virtual joystick? That's what I really want. PS: I was looking at Lili, and the coconut (or is it palm?) trees in that game look eeriely similar to that in Horn that can be found in the second world. Did both devs share art assets? Also, correct me if I am wrong, but is Horn the first game to feature a 'living' world? (tress, grass, plants etc all sway).
The game is set up to make money mostly on IAP. The sucky part about this game's IAP system is that it is only good for one game. Start a new game and you've lost your money. OTOH, it is also possible to complete the game without IAP, as there are ways to earn gems/cores.
I have been trying to download this since yesterday, it just keeps saying unable to download. The app will start downloading, the progress bar moves, and after it gets about 3/4 done it restarts. Then after a couple hours the error message pops up. Frustrating
Will it ever be optimized for iPhone 4?? Still so dissapointed at the graphics looks like n64 on an HDTV

Well, Apple are still signing iOS 5.1.1 as of 6am on the 21/09/12 because I just restored my iPad 3 via iTunes. And my Horn icon has been edited with iExplorer using the old loophole.
>>It now lags on the new iPad please fix it. << it shouldn't- what OS are you using? Are your apps closed and you restarted?
I'm playing on the iPad 3 / iOS 6 and I haven't experienced any lag after the update. There has always been a few little stutters at the start of a new area, but the game is performing exactly the same as it did before the update for me. One thing I would like to see in a future update is some form of (online) back-up. In a game like this where you can easily put in 20-30 hours or more, it's a little disconcerting that all progress could easily be lost due to an unforeseen issue with the device/app or whatever.
- is there a way to switch the language from within the app? I live in Japan and even if I understand Japanese, reading it as fast as the bubbles pop out is nearly impossible. Having to switch the iPhone general language settings each time I play this game is a pain in the b... - On top of that, Japanese subtitles DO NOT FIT the screen (it's a 4S) 90% of the time... But it does look like a nice game!
iCloud save would do that. Devs, PLEASE add the iCloud save... would also be great for switching back and forth between iPhone and iPad. Thanks!!
Wow, beautiful game, sure hope the gameplay is as good as it looks. I love the big robot guy, he looks rad.
Goodamitsomuch. I just bought this game...as it was downloading, it has an attractive icon, except for the Zynga badge in the corner. By the time it finished, I end up with what looks like a 14 year-old D&D player's DeviantArt crap.
No need for sarcasm. An icon would never put me off buying a game, after all I did indeed buy the game, but the original icon is far superior. An icon is to an app as packaging is to a videogame, and along with non-Retina enabled apps (which is just lazy given that they're ALL retina in the App Store on iOS!), mid-cycle icon changes are my main irritant when it comes to developers. The loophole in 5.1.1 was great, because you could alter the artwork to anything you liked, such as the artwork from the actual cover of console releases (using FIFA as an example). Thankfully, restoring to 5.1.1 prior to Apple ceasing the signing of the ipsw last night, altering the Horn icon via iExplorer, then updating to 6.0 via OTA has sorted things until Zynga see some sense and restore the original icon.
