Dang... Thats just too low. Put some thought into that non-HD version I had, I'll definantly buy that. But until then I would rather buy something that supports my device :/
Thanks, I'd really appreciate that. Even if it doesn't make it into the game, maybe your next game. Anyway, great game you guys have made here, wish you all the best. As long as you keep making premium or paymium games like this, I'll buy them
I'm still surprised there isn't some way the itouch can run the game. It manages NOVA 3 with ragdolls and mc3 reasonably well. It might be the engine, I guess. UE3 never ran well on a4 devices in my experience. Any idea what a5 and a5x devices are cranking out when it comes to framerate?
Gameloft have done a fine job on the platform. I gotten all their major releases and it's clear they know their stuff The supported platforms with the nice chipset get very solid frame rates of about 30 (give or take a bit depending on what apps are open and even how many apps you have on your device since the icons have to be stored in memory)
I'm amazed by how many people haven't taken the time to do a bit a research regarding why the GPU of the iPad and it's incredibly high resolution have a big effect on what the devs can do with this game. Check this out. http://www.redmondpie.com/a5-vs.-a5x-vs.-tegra-3-thoroughly-benchmarked-the-winner-is-rather-surprising/
I'm surprised devs haven't tried to output half the resolution of the iPad 3. It's a little silly, considering the performance boost from that would be extreme. Not only that, but they could just use an FXAA injector, and most consumers wouldn't notice!
This game needs a save option. I was under the impression that when I reach a checkpoint that I would start at that checkpoint the next time I launch the game but that clearly is not the case. I can't play anymore until they add a d-pad and give a save option. Such a shame because it's an awsome game that's missing a couple of things that should have been there from the start.
Hm... Actually, I think I may buy this... Has anyone played this on an iPod touch 4G? I wanna play it so bad! But but but! Argh!
I have a question for the Devs. have you considered additional control scheme methods. The game is great, I would just love a joypad type control...the touch piece seems to take away from the experience for me. I will say that this is one of the best games I have played on iOS and I've been an iOS gamer from the beginning.
phosphor games in the trailer of horn I noticed light shafts. (god rays) but in the game I see none is it only in the Tegra virsion please say it ain't so
Yes, to an extent. But there's no sense in continuing to bring it up. If they could have added the effects, they would have. Let's be happy they gave us such a great product and move on to locating bugs or things that would improve the game to help the devs out. Personally, playing on my iPad 2, I haven't run into any issues. Reading through the thread though, those that have are getting decent help. So we all need to be focused on discussing how we can help in these issues or help others who get stuck in parts of the game.
I have it lol The thing that now is discussed is why the game has more effects for Tegra devices than for iOS devices. At least now we're talking about Horn. Anyway, ATM I only want the update which fixes bugs and performance... and another update which allows us to use the horn manually when we need to use it
