Also a question... those beams of light... Yellow is subquest and Green is main quest?

Very sorry about that bug in Suddene, I will send it to the team and see what they have to say. In the mean time would you mind filling out a quick email to our support? It's just that it is quite late here (up all night gaming ) and I don't want that very important issue falling through the cracks.

    [email protected]

Officially we do not support ipod touch. We have a patch on the way that will make the performance better but still officially not supporting it.

In regards to infinity blade cloth. The advantage infinity blade has is that they are in more enclosed areas with no exploration so they can do more fun visual stuff that we are more limited on.

Finally, yes, blue light is main quest and yellow is our challenge area (side quest)

If it's super laggy I would say try to restart your device (my ipad 2 lags like crazy on high end games because even just having a lot of apps makes the memory budget to store the icons hurt your performance)

If you want to see the Tegra-only effects, the intro movie of the game (the one that plays when you open the app) is from the Tegra version.

Will there be fixes for saving at checkpoints?

Will there be extensions to the game?

Are you guys considering a sequel, dependant on how well this one does?

Will you make another game simliar to this one?

I'm overwhelmed by how incredible this game is. I was really waiting and wanting for this particular title to show up and do well. And from the App Store reviews, it seems on the way to doing so.

Please keep up the excellent job!

Yes of course IB is more limited than this game so they can give extra power to textures and modeling but my point isn't there...
In Tegra version will be effects that iPad3 cannot play??? If no, i would like to see this version on iOS..
If it is an exclusivity matter this is something different and means that will not have these effects even with iPad4.
Anyway just saying... One way or an other the game looks and plays fantastic on my iPad 3.

I seem to have encountered the same bug at Sudenne mission 5. Most of the interface disappears and I am frozen, unable to do anything. If I touch the screen it plays the sound and displays sparks as if I am striking the disc with my sword. Here's a screenshot of the point where it occurs. (I'm playing on iPad 3)

I think including realtime shadows is just a matter of optimization, though far be it from me to make that call. Ravensword 2, for example, has realtime shadows for a5 devices and its an open world, and also looks unbelievably good (check out the thread for screens). Forgotten Memories, a free roaming horror game, looks even better, has realtime shadows and fully dynamic lighting and runs at 60 fps on an iPad 2. Desert Zombie, while being a horrible game, also has realtime shadows for dozens of zombies onscreen at once plus the main character, and runs fine. There really shouldn't be a problem hardware-wise. And if they do end up taking too much memory, just only enable them for the iPad 3, which has a gig of ram.

As for tegra, why aren't we seeing those effects in high end iOS devices? The a5, not to mention the a5x blew away the tegra 3 in gpu benchmarks and overall performance. Is this just because it's easier to code for?

There's nothing tegra 3 cannot run that even the iPad 2 could not run. Look up the benchmarks. Excluding a5 and a5x devices from tegra effects isn't acceptable.

The only thing killing some performance is the huge resolution of iPad3... Of course all the tests shows that is the king, that's why i'm curious, why or if, they don't give us these effects... Except it is just a contract with Nvidia issue and give them exclusive on Tegra devices.

Downgrading the res with some AA will fix the problem in a heartbeat.

Let's wait and see when these games will be released and how they will eventually look and for what devices before coming to any conclusions shall we ? The guys at phosphor announced a game in the middle of June , an incredible looking game at that (the first real UE3 IOS game in my book), and they released it in August. The other guys have busted our balls with their stupid hype and threads that go on for years .

So how many frames per second does this get on an iPod Touch 4G? I wasn't even gonna consider this game, but I watched the gameplay video and the music won me over :p

Yes they've been in development for a long time, but they're both coming this year. Ravensword 2 is published by Cresent Moon, a very reputable buisness. Likewise, Josh is reliable. As for Forgotten Memories, they've just got sponsored by Apple. It's not "stupid hype", both games have working builds and are coming this year.

I've tried that - it just makes a small beeping sound but does nothing. I've played through the level from scratch a few times now and I get this every time. No matter what i press, nothing happens. I just have to force quit the game.
