I was excited after I watched TA play this morning then I read the description not for IPod touch just a kick in the nuts almost make me want to buy a new IPad. Almost
Really tempted to buy then I saw the Zynga symbol... To me it means "avoid like a plague". So not gonna get it till I make sure some stuffs. Do you need to wait 5 hours to level up? 3 hours to make a weapon? Or 10 hours to rest your character? Of course you can make all that go faster by paying 60 bucks. Standard Zynga tm stuff. If even a tiny bit of that waiting crap exist, Im so not buying this crap.
I also have a feeling it's gonna be this way. I already read the TA preview that gems are purchased as IAPs. And we are already paying the initial 7 bucks. Not only is Phospher borrowing design cues from Infinity Blade but seems like Zynga is continuing its IAP footsteps and pricing. Too bad, as a big Zelda fan, I was actually looking forward to this. I just hope the IAP mechanics for this game is not as bad as I suspect.
Well thank god it's not developed by Zynga. Who knows how messed up their IAP would be. These coin/gem/etc based IAP systems need to be destroyed and forgotten forever and I almost never buy games anymore that has them. I hope impressions here show they're completely unnecessary.
So, another bloated (file size), over-priced IB clone that reminds everyone of ICO and has some simple swinging mechanics tacked on? Meh...
Yeah I'm all over buying this as well but same as most people here I'm somewhat reticent due to it being Zynga. Anyone who's taken the plunge got any impressions yet? Is there IAP or any time management etc?
Holy moly... I thought for Greece Batman was to release 23 of August... What a dreamy day... Horn looks amazing on the new iPad... A little bit laggy in some parts but nothing serious till now. EDIT: And till now the free roaming and the 3D battle system makes it quite far from just a IB clone.
At least at the new iPad i think that it is a little bit laggy just for 1-2 secs when you enter to a new area... Probably it is the time it needs to render the scene because after that it is ok.
Ok nobody can tell for sure if the IAP is necessary or not, yet. But no gamecenter also, let alone iCloud. At least there's no waiting mechanic.
What the hell, the game crashed twice (Ipad2) . It seems that evey time you reach an area, you must wait for the camera to adjust and not try to force it , by looking around before the camera adjusts , or the game will crush . The game does feel a bit too ambitious for current IOS devices (the ones it supports) , Forget the IB games, this is a free moving action/adventure with touch controls instead of a virtual joyistic . The graphics are jaw-dropping .
