I absolutely love this game but I'm done with it until they fix the check points. I made it at least 30 min in to the second part of the game and did like 3 or 4 puzzles and died at the final boss and had to completely start over. How developers still make this mistake, I'll never know. Completely unacceptable. I'm halfway through the game but that makes me not want to finish it

Only 4 of those are clones. The rest are original games/ports.

Alright, so can someone clarify how well this runs on an iPod Touch, 4th Gen?

Thread ruined by all this publisher talk. Can we get back on Horn and actually playing it?

For me the graphics are top notch, the controls work fine but the characters are kind of goofy. Probably the creators are looking for something light-hearted.

right, so your still holding the grudge when Dark meadow went FTP and people bitched. I was one of them as i bought the game for full price the day before that happened i was furious, but phosphor heard our bitching and suggestions and just made a free version separate from the actual game and took out all the sun coin weapons, extra iap stuff and the ads. You still needed sun coins for some items but whatever no iaps were required to beat the game.

The point i am trying to make is Phosphor fixed there mistake end of story , move on and go play with your HORN! LOL see what i did there?!?!

iOS will definately prevail by copying awesome triple AAA titles of consoles. Games like Mc2, Mc3, Dead space, CodWAW, Infinity Blade, Trigger fist, Shadowgun are awesome, great looking games.

Why would I want to play crappy pixel-y games that look like they were made in 1980. modern video games are way better, fun to play than those old retro games. I don't even play those pixel games for nostalgic reasons.

Not all the newer games are console ripoffs, besides all games are derived from one another anyways

No. I'm not sure if the post got deleted with all the others, but as I said what seems like eons ago, based on prior experience, I'm going to hold off and see what happens.

If you or anyone else needs to paint me as something I'm not, knock yourself out. I'm really tired of rehashing the same BS. My first comment made what seems like months ago was simple and I thought relatively innocuous.

For the record, AGAIN. I am not "holding a grudge." A game I absolutely adored was updated and changed in a way that I didn't appreciate. I feel the need to take that into consideration. PERIOD.

Can we all PLEASE just drop the back-and-forth?

If you want the game, for the love of God, just get it.

You realize you don't have to respond right?

Anyway, I've made it to Suddene in the game. Loving the new area. Also, it's great that you can returns to Cuthbert if you want to continue to do the challenges.

I'm playing on an iPad3 and currently about an hour into gameplay. The story, graphics and controls are all very fluid in design. I have encountered the option for IAP but felt zero need to purchase anything as there is plenty of opportunity within the game to earn currency to upgrade, etc.

I hope that anyone who is skeptical of this game for whatever reason (and I will refrain from stating such reasons to avoid rehashing any tension ;)) will give it a try because this is the game that brought me from getting tired of Infinity Blade to really enjoying a game with similar but fresh mechanics that fully utilize the potential for gaming on iOS devices. Don't get me wrong, Infinity Blade is an incredible franchise that revolutionized iOS gaming. The environment in Horn alone (for me anyway) is reason enough to buy this.

I'm at Suddene too and I've just completed the first challenge. There's a lot more depth to the game than I expected. It is huge for an iOS game, and I'm still just 45% complete. It seems that IGN were not exaggerating when they said it takes around 10 hours to complete.
