I think that Horn's graphics are way better. IB2 graphics are only good because it uses cool perspectives, while Horn is free roam and it still looks really great. But without comparing them to other games they are really good.
It must be pushing it quite a lot. have your tried playing after restarting the device and not launching any apps at all before the game?
Dude just pick it up and enjoy it. It's great. Let bygones be bygones and have a fun weekend killing monsters.
All previous scandals aside, these guys deserve a medal. This is easily one of the best games on iOS. The combat mechanic refined from Infinity Blade is great, the quirky characters provide loads of entertainment and the world is well developed and beautiful. It has some teething problems though - some graphical glitches and a just slightly less then perfect UI (in the menus, and with the potion button). Also, with the way it heats up my 4S after a couple of hours play I wouldn't expect any older gen devices to really manage to run it well. I'm not quite done yet, but its also seems to be slightly on the short side. But it still has many more hours of game time then the rest of the app store. IAP seems entirely unnecessary, in fact I have an abundance of resources and should you wish to grind for the expensive visual upgrades (diferrent suits of armour that don't affect play) or the more expensive weapons it wouldn't be hard to do. I don't think it will go free to play. My impression is that Zynga kept their filthy free to play business model to themselves this time. Here's hoping. Cause this ones a beaut.
So does this even run at all on iPod touch 4G? I'm not touching this game with a 12 and a half foot pole until I know that it does. *Sigh* This is why I like Pixel-y games, they can run on virtually anything.
I am stuck on the mission for the fifth seed, at the place where you can pull four switches to light four hangings lamps, and I can't figure out what to do. I'm assuming you have to use the switches in a certain order or only light certain lamps, but I can't figure it out. Help.
Sorry bro, but Pixel-y games suck in my opinion. The game will run on a 4G, but it isn't supported because it's made for higher devices, ipad 2 and 3, iphone 4S. You can still play it though, I'm pretty sure it won't have retina, or tegra 3 effects.
I don't think you should listen to the guy who started the thread (he doesn't have any more or less standing than anyone else), but I do suggest you listen to the moderators, or else they will ban you!
OK, here's the situation. I'm going to go through and delete the posts that are only related to DM. This is going to take me a fair amount of time. There is a link on the OP that links to the correct place to complain about the DM issue. BOTTOM LINE: FROM THIS POINT FORWARD, NO MORE COMPLAINING ABOUT DM IN THIS THREAD. IF YOU CONTINUE TO DO SO, YOU WILL BE CONTACTED ABOUT IT.
This truly is a shame. If someone came here interested in Horn, read all that nonsense about a past mistake the developer made with their last game, and decide to pass on this game, get your head right. This is hands down, one of the best games I have played on the iPad. It's awesome, and keeps getting better the farther I get. The few of you ranting over a developer trying to make a profit, on their game which everyone seems to have enjoyed is ludacris. I could see if their last offering wasn't good, and you were waiting on impressions. But to come on this thread, complain and try to sway people from getting this game, is damaging to the community. If you came here to read if people are enjoying it, let me recap the whole thread. Almost everyone with the capable hardware, is really enjoying it. It's great and easily worth the price of admission.
