Nope. It says right in the app description: PLEASE NOTE: iPad (1st Generation), iPhone 3GS, iPod touch devices NOT SUPPPORTED.
Who said "Stupid"? I'm just saying that, with a little retrospective, it's funny to see people cautious about a great game like this when many were not for such a cheap production like TASM. For me, even TDKR (while undoubtedly better than his "cousins") belongs to a league B of iOS games. But Horn is on top of League A. If you don't think it brings anything new to the table, then name similar iOS titles that are this well done on so many aspects.
Just pinch your keyboard in and out. Best thing ever for the iPad. I didnot realize that feature until I saw it on you tube. Lol
im still so impressed with this game, phosphor blew this thing outta the park, im on ipad 3 have had no crashes with the game, just simply awesome loving every minute of it...this shows you how awesome ios games can be, cant wait for IB dungeons if this is any indication cause im just in awe....
FWIW, this game is getting slam dunk reviews on the iOS review sites that I've seen. Keep in mind that many of the negative comments are coming from people who haven't played this.
What next... So, I've completed four of the quests from Cuthbert (The Outpost: Demolition, The Outpost: Playing with Fire, and The Outpost: Arktos loves Beehives, and The Armory: Into the Ruins). I can get to the "arena" mode in the forest, but the other two quests next to "The Armory" are disabled. How do you enable them? There is also a gate in Cuthbert that looks like it leads somewhere interesting, but it is closed and I can't find a lever to open it. Anyone know how to enable the other two quests or get the gate open?
OH damn! i didn't see that, i only checked the reqs and that was it, no wonder is not running, i thought it was cause i was JB, well, it's a justified refund nevertheless.
I just bought this game after reading all the reviews and waiting for more user impressions to filter in. VERDICT: (for the iPad 3) This is the best looking iOS game I've played since IB; sure the combat is similar to IB, but this holds weight by the story, voice acting as well. I haven't played something so graphicly awesome on my "new iPad" and it's worth every penny. This is the type of game the new iPad should promote to display its power. I had to stop briefly to write a quick review for those refraining from hitting the buy button. Zeldaish adventure is a very fair comparison. Awesome game!!!
Well damn, there's a bug in the second "dungeon". It is possible to pull the lever before collecting the seed, which opens the already-closed door. After the events that follow though, the door remains closed and the lever is still in the "down" position, meaning you're stuck.
How big is this game when installed? I'm biding my time and saving any available space while awaiting Baldur's Gate, because as far as that game goes I'd wipe anything off my iPad 3 to play that game again, especially on the go! Edit: never mind, found my answer!
Yup i found that out too lol had to just leave the area by fast travel back to cuthberg and head back it wasnt too bad got to grind some more stuff and you dont need i ap for it.
Ive been seeing all these negative posts about the publisher zyanga. I get it but phosphor is who we should be praising. The people who dont dl Horn cause zyanga is the the publisher its your loss. This game is ground breaking for a ios game and paves the way for more to follow infinty blade dungeons is going to rock. But this is Horns thread and i mean im so used to static backgrounds its like every tree, leaf, flower , hanging signs. Then you top that off with titan sized dudes animated in the background the sense of scale to your little dude Horn is crazy.I have not seen this much attention to detail on a ios title.. when you get a game like this, its usually on a console or pc. The future is here lets embrace it . BUY THIS GAME support Phosphor they knocked it out the park.
I'm really curious as to why they chose Zynga as their publisher with so many other quality publishers out there.... Especially with all the IAP nonsense their last game had
While you can install it and play it, the app won't run at its best performance on all iPod Touches, due to memory and graphical limitations. That's what they mean by don't install it on an iPod Touch.
