Frankly, it took me one race to get used to the new “auto break” system. Steering works well, too. I have yet to try it with my Backbone, but I suspect that it will be the best way to play the game. I’ve only played Ridge Racing on a PSP, so I may not be the best person to answer, but not really. It’s more arcadey — the roots here are still Out Run and Cruis’n USA.
