You are better off hoping Square Enix releases a Dragon Quest Monsters game to iPhone.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker was excellent for the DS.

 

i would hope too, but i have to agree with Raster. it's a nintendo franchise. but hopefully someone will come along and make a knockoff pokemon game with online capability

 

The question really is... do we want to see it?

 

It'd probably be better than a lot of the crap we get, certainly beats anything in the MMO forum.

an app, no, never. Maybe someone would do a full mmo style script that can be played through safari, but that's it. I have started several web app games, you might find this interesting:

it's crap, I know. I'm not posting to brag. It's just prof of concept that a very lowgrade online version would be possible. Either as a full JavaScript game with high scores, or using some Ajax to make it progressive.
